We are not sure yet, I mean I know all the possibilities and stuff, but I dont want to write it all down and then in case it will not happen it would be a dissapointment. Same with a players pack which if everthing works could be really nice and there may be even some more pack if you advance to the next round and so on... As was written here, the money does not go to our pockets, but to the tournament....
Just a few poinits from "behind the curtain:"
- as Honza mentioned, the fees are not higher, it is just the Czech Crown that makes it more expensive for foreign players. But there is nothing we can do, we have to pay for everything in CZK. And from our point of view the fees are very affordable. Used to be the other way around a few years back... Blame Bush...
- Worlds are a prize money event, the amount of prize money awarded is based mostly on the amount of players who register in the Pro category. So in fact the players themselves give the money which are then split amongst the winners. It could happen that someone who didn't register as a Pro wins. In that case his share is distributed amongst all other Pros who deserve it. If you don't like it write an email to IFPA and don't just complain here on some unrelated thread.
- The "meal a day" will probably be a big sandwich with some fruits and who knows what. Vegetarians won't be forgotten, I hope
We had a deal for a warm meal, but it didn't work 
- Paid judges?? Are u serious? Judges and the whole organizing team are volunteers. The only thing we get is usually a t-shirt and some free meal and drinks. Otherwise all the preparations for Worlds are done in spare time and we are not paid in any way. We even all pay our own phone bills, for the gas etc.. Trust me it is exactly the opposite of profitable for the people involved. It can get very stressful, but is is still done for the love of the sport. If you don't believe, just contact anyone doing a footbag event anywhere and offer them your help. You'll see how things work and that there is no conspiracy involved.
- and if you are wondering about the so called "guests" The idea is that these are the friends of the sport and of the players. You can be just a spectator for free (and $2 for the last 2 days), no problem. Or you can be a guest and not only get all the same treatment as the players (booklet, free entries, meal, tshirt etc..) but you also support the tournament. As I mentioned earlier, all the money we get are invested back into the tournament. I wouldn't call it "taking advantage of the guest"
