Good drill/routine practice session for 1.5 hours. I decided to work on my routine in quarters, since there's 4 distinct parts to it, and I guess that's going alright. I did the first part dropless three times in a row, but the energy is really the problem with my routine. I'll try part 2 tomorrow and try to put the first half together.

pretty good 2 hour session. Routine is finally starting to go my way, hopefully I'll have it ready.

The flip plasma is the, but it's a good run, so I uploaded it.

Thanks man, I like it too.

I'm leaving on Sunday for my big US Open trip (Flying to Zac's, road tripping to tourny, back to Zac's, home), and I'm unbelievably excited. I really can't believe it's happening. Hopefully I'll do well in comp. I think my routine's ok, but will be good if I nail it.

Expect my next one shot to come at you from Kansas.

So I got back from Zac's house on Sunday. I won't go into details because Zac is writing about the entire 2 weeks, but it was incredible, and I'm so glad it worked out.

I did pretty well at USO. It was probably my best sideline shred I've ever done, but I was disappointed with how I did in comp. 8th in routines, even though I had like 10 drops, though with about 2 weeks of practice, I guess that wasn't bad. Didn't move on in circle, and didn't hit a sick 3. Made it about 1/2 way through request, but that one is just fun to do no matter how far you get.

I played yesterday and today. Nothing to brag about, but USO has really given me more drive than ever. I'm going to continue my regular drilling, and work on rounding out my game. I practiced eggbeaters today, and I'm getting decent at them (about 1 every 2 tries). Hit some easy drills, and links (pdx whirl>pdx egg) a few times. That was about all I did, only played for about 45 minutes.

Till next time brothers

Another break due to injury.

The other side of my groin has the same pain (minor tendonitis), but I don't think it will take as long to heal, because I didn't play as hard or as long on it. As of 2 days ago I'm taking off until I get back to school (September 7th), when I will hopefully be healed. Until then I'll be heating and stretching a few times a day. I've been injured in the past year so much, I really hope this is a short one. I've only been able to play about 6 of the last 12 months. I have so much drive right now, I can't wait to get back at it.

In non-footbag news, I've been really into music right now. Listening, not playing. I got into progressive rock in December, and it's quickly become my favorite genre. I'm trying to buy one album a week from amazon right now, and I really just love hearing everything these guys came up with. My favorite artist is Genesis (Nursery Chryme, Foxtrot, Selling England By The Pound) and Marillion (Script For A Jester's Tear, Misplaced Childhood) right now, but I'm always trying out different artists and albums. If anybody has any suggestions for bands or specific prog albums they like, I'd be more than happy to try them. Or if you want to talk about how cool mellotron is, or how Greg Lake's voice is awesome, I'm game for that too.

My new lavers came today. I went down a 1/2 size from my last pair (11.5 to 11), but now that they're here, I'm thinking about sending them back and going down another half size. What size do people who's feet are roughly 10.5 inches wear?

I tried on some adidas at a store, because I was told they're all about the same size between models, and I'm going to go with a 10 lavers. I'm sending the ones I got back today, so I'll probably have the new ones in two weeks.

For anyone looking for a really long, epic song, Tarkus by Emmerson, Lake & Palmer has become my favorite 20+ minute song that I have (out of 11 on my iTunes, and more that I've listened to a lot). It's so in your face about how awesome it is, and there's never a dull moment. One of the few long compositions that I feel deserves the 20 minutes. I don't think any parts should have been cut or shortened, and it goes by extremly quickly. The rest of the album sucks though, so no need to listen to that.

Hi. My computer has been down for the past few days, so those I normally talk to on AIM, that's why you haven't seen me.

I've since moved into college for my second year, and it's great. I've only played twice here, because of my groin, but they've both been pretty good. I hit blurriest>symp bubba>ss symp swirl, two days ago, and that was pretty cool.

Rehearsal for the play is fun, but makes me busy and stressed. Oh well, it's worth it.

Home from NYJ.

I had a geat time, but it was a weird tournament. Not sure why exactly.

I think I played more than anybody there, and if you think I didn't, please speak up ;)

As a result, I am very very sore, and will not be playing for a couple weeks, especially because I got injured after the last two tournaments I went to.

Looking forward to getting back to training. Should have some good videos for this year for you guys.

Played today for an hour. It was pretty awful, but I wasn't expecting much.
