With my new color mod, my lavers are bling bling...sorta.

Gold goes well with blue.

As my friend pointed out, its hard to see the gold coloring with the lighting. Sigh. It looks phat in person though, I promise.

I agree. Very nice job modding. I hope mine come out that clean looking when I'm through with my ct's. IF they ever COME.

I just checked my order status, and they've been shipped !!

But, does anyone know what this means, or if I should be concerned about it ? It was in the deatails part of the UPS tracking for my package.

I got bored today, and decided to cut up my old DC's. They look nothing like how they did.

A pretty cool... semi shredable shoe. The toebox however, is still a bit small.

my red lavers that have been my shred shoes for the last year+

the next two are lavers that i got today at the adidas outlet store

i payed like 25 for the middle ones, theyre like navy with white
and the last lavers are vision green and i payed like 15 bucks for them

Here a pair of brand new Lavers, just got them a week ago. Never been shreded in. Way to stiff compared to my other ones.

And here my first pair of lavers. I love them to death. There about 3 months old. The only mods been done on them are the toe boxs been opened and the right one has half of the toe canvas cut out. The spacers are made of beads duct taped together. I couldn't find and tubes that I liked, so I thought what the hell.

Question for Eric and Stephen:

I noticed both of you cut the bottom two eyetlets off and laced them normally. Does doing that mod effecting doing toe stalls and catching the bag. I like my lavers tighter but it makes the box to small for me. I am still trying to get my two adds down good, so does it effect alot. I was messing with plo today,and I kept hooking the bag off the wall when I would set it.

I do that as well, although I think I've cut more than just the bottom two eyelets - although I might be wrong.

I find that it doesn't make any difference with toe stalls (and I'm the toe stall world record holder

) but it makes a minimal difference with pixie and fairy sets - it makes them easier - this is mainly for doing really quick sets for stuff like beta sailing or beta frantic sets - for a normal pixie moves, I can pretty much hit them in anything. If you have good pixie technique it shouldn't matter anyway.

The last line is the important part.

Cutting off the sidewalls just makes it so you can snap the pixie/fairy out faster. If you are doing a proper toe stall you shouldn't need sidewalls to hold the bag in. I have found that it has helped insaneify my pixies and it has forced me to develop super solid toe stalls. doing that has led to alot more control on things like atomics where I find that set position is really important.

cut off your training wheels!

ps as a side bonus I don't get anymore comments by strangers claiming that I need the 'glove' to catch the bag on my toe.

Alright,sorry I didn't notice yours to Jeremy. I have another reeason to maybe cut them off. I think it is cause the way my foot is shaped on the left outside that this happens. Since the stitching is cut,it makes like a pocket bewteen the toe box and the wall,leaving just enough room for the bag to squeeze in there. And usually the bag seems to roll into it,making it hard to do stings. So I think I might do the eyelet cut mod, it'll help with getting my pixies good and should help on strings.

Edit: Also wondering,does the broka mod help alot. I have heard from alot of people that it just makes the cranking more conmfortable. But I am at the point of starting to work on clippers, can crank my ankle to about a 75 degree ankle give or take. Did you notice if it helped with how far you can crank it?

-cut out 3 eyelets
-colered them with marker
-drilled holes in them
-did th broka mod
-did some extra things that i cant really explain

some of them might not show up for some damn reason
