20th October 2004

Had my first solo session in my room for ages, and it was actually
quite fun.

Hit some good stuff:

Flipside Smear
Flipside Pixie Legover
Toe DLO>DLO

and quite a good run:

ducking clipper>stepping ss legover>dimwalk>pdx mirage>pickup>dimwalk>pdx mirage>Clipper>ducking clipper>flip ripwalk DROP

also 10 infinities or so. They're slowly getting more and more consistant.

Also hit 1-2 more eggbeaters. :) Eggbeaters are fun!

Good to hear :) Are you now finally working on your flipside Pixie? When do you get your veins checked?

Hats off to eggbeaters :D

Today i had a little drill session myself at work during break,
focusing on flip pixie stuff and flipside clipper. I hit :
flipside pixie legover and smear midrun, and some clean
illusions bsos. Later on i worked on toe ducking and pdx mirages
and i landed illusion>flying butterfly .

Tomorrow will be as sweet as an apple, i look foward to meet the gang...

Todays players were beatrice, bjoern and me. We shredded
at max and bea's house for about 2 1/2 hrs, and for the first
time their neighbour busted a symposium complaint

For my part, i entered the circle way too soon, which didnt work
for me at all, because i still have to focus on my basics, and
i'm not comfortable in general about mixing runs and move
practice. Nevertheless, the shred felt like progress again, cuz
my three adds are getting safer every session. :)
I hit pixie legover bsos 4 times today, not in one string, of course,
and i worked on hitting smear and pixie legover after illusions
and mirages. I also went for pixie illusion and eggbeater, but
it will take a while, before they're mine...
Next time,i'll stick to my schedule and i try to string a nice, tilltless
run, and hopefully, i'll finally hit magellan and pixie clipper midrun.
Also, i shall put more attention on my flipside ( clipper, smear, pdx
mirage), and maby i evetually execute my first butterflies.

Hi
probs for the combo Bjoern. And Daryl I'm sure you will hit Butterfly in no time! I think I will have the shred room finished by end of November, so we have plenty of space and no neighbour will be disturbed. Btw. today at work I had time to write myself a training plan. I wrote up all the moves + how often I want to repeat them for warm up. And then I added combos and drills for concepts I want to focus on mainly. (E.g. a nice allround Stepping workout or the same for Pixie, with special focus on my weak spots; Dimwalk )
It's not finished yet but I can't wait to drill with it!

sounds pretty useful, especially for solo drill sessions! Anyway, can't
wait to shred again on monday! My legs need rest now.

Yesterday I hit Clipper>Flapper>Clipper>Flapper>Clipper>Flapperdrop :)

Bea and I just had an short drilling session, I only managed to complete the warm-up section of my training plan :) Still needs a bit fine tuning, but it appears to be quite useful. The good news from that session are I hit Flipside Toe DLO 3 times in a row. I also hit Clipper > DLO repeat 3x

Monday Gym Session.

I love em. Wonder why?

That's why:

Paradox Double Legover
Bubba Beater
Ripwalk>DLO>Pixie Flapper
Diving Clipper>Ducking Clipper
(finally!)
Diving Clipper bsos
Run with clip set DLO, toe set DLO and Eggbeater
Dimwalk>Ducking Butterfly>Jaywalk ;)

One-sidedness sometimes owns.

Bea hit more Ripwalks than she wanted, also a Sidewalk!
As for Daryl and Max, speak for yourselves!

Another manic monday :P !!!

Boy, this shred was intense, i'm still all hyped up and unable
to articulate my thougts.
I havent had a shred like this before ; intense drilling, nice
runs, goals got accomplished ( magellan midrun !) and i hit
some nu tricks too :

2 consecutive clippers on my flip
( i know that aint much, but its the first time for me  )
flipside pdx mirages
pixie same side mirage
My first butterflies :D
pdx illusions
xbd heelstall

Of course, those tricks arent the greatest, but most of em, i hadnt
even tried until today 8)

Also my runs/combos got more interesting :
pixie legover bsos ( again )
pixie>kneebump>ducking toestall
pixie legover>legover>clipper>mirage
legover>mirage>magellan>mirage>smear>legover
guay>walkover>far legover
illusion>butterfly kick

:) Yeah playing in that gym is almost everytime a big succes.
My Pixie Set worked a lot better today as it did the weeks before.
So I hit Pixie Illiusion bsos and Pixie Pickup > Pixie Pickup and
Pixie Ducking Butterfly :) (I wasn't pushing to hit that trick, but he a new 5 add why not :)) In one run I it Blur bsos, Ripwalk and DLO (I think)

But Osis and Infinities still need a lot of work

After reading bjoerns thread about the online sick three,
i got so exited about footbag in general, that i had to
start a drilling session.

Mainly i schooled pixie stuff and clipper(set trix) on both
sides, and different combos of linking basics with three adds.
The upgrade for my training plan is definitly drills consisting
of two or three tricks (like, mirage>pixie legover,
legover>smear or mirage>clipper>mirage), so that i can get
closer to tiltless.

The session itself went quite well, especially as far as my flip
is concerned and i hit a nice combo on my good side :
clipper>far legover>clipper>far legover>clipper>far legover

THURSDAY, 28.10.04

Beatrice and me had a fun drilling session over at their new house.
We started out kicking and playing simplified net, a cable
set two ft. high between antique chairs, that is

When it was time for basics, i tried to focus on my weak
spots (flip pixie, flip clipper, mirages, midrun illusions...) .
Later on, we schooled pixie moves and clipper stuff; Bea also
praticed her stepping set, while i worked on tiltless combos .

Drilling took about one and a half hrs, so we were both a little
tired, when we finally went for runs and "big"trick practice.
Nevertheless, some good stuff was being hit !

Bea :
magellan and smear bsos !!!
dimwalk
same side butterlies bsos
clipper>far legover bsos
stepping set>legover ( dont know the technical name  )
osis (once), but midrun !

Daryl :
first flipside smear :D
pdx illusions
clipper>far legover 2 times in a row
butterfly (once)
clipper>far legover>smear
toe spin midrun
guay>walkover>atw
pixie legover>pixie legover...rolled of my foot

Thats all i can recall, there were some good runs, but bob marley
ruined my memory
Anyway this one was fun, drilling together rules and yeah,
i love footbag !

It's a stepping legover :)
NuR wrote:guay>walkover>atw
An ATW is only possible from toe. So I'm guessing you hit either
guay>walkover>far legover
or
guay>walkover>clip set ss legover ?

Props on the session, both of you! It's always fun to read what I missed!

BTW Daryl did you get my pm regarding saturday? I hope you're in!
