I just had and awesome session with Blake!

He hit like 5 new tricks, including Ripwalk!

I was doing OK considering my conditioning is way gone. I had Bedwetter off the foot so many times today!

All in all I had a few good strings, hit some good tricks:

Toe Blur
PS Whirls

Kinda sorta little bit close to Whirlygig :)

Josh missed today because of some communication breakdowns. A ruckus I tell you! A ruckus!!!

Put a new battery in my car last night though. It wasn't very fun.

Later!

Had a totally awesome session with Josh today!!!!

There were massive tricks, quality strings, and general awesomeness!

I hit a few new tricks today:

Fairy Drifter - Fume

Pixie Ducking Drifter - Alpine Smoke!!! :D
Pixie Ducking DLO - Goliath!!! :D :D

The Goliath was at the very end of the session, Josh tried one hard trick before he stopped, so I decided I would, too! I didn't think I'd hit it though, it was perfect! I think I could have hit Phoenix out of it if I wasn't so surprised!

I hit a couple 5 > 5's:

Phoenix > PS Whirl
Phoenix > Blurry Whirl

A few awesome links:

Eggplant > Tripwalk
Fairy Legover > Pixie Pickup

I'm confident enough with my fairies to use them midstring more often now!

Josh hit some amazing stuff, too! Check his blog!!!

To tell the truth, that only Conrad and I know. The first one is the way to fake Alpine Smoke!!!!

Plus, Goliath was a totally end of session pull off! We were both trying a single trick to end the day, and he just happened to NAIL goliath perfectly! Then he wasn't able to do anything except foot it when we got the camera out!

The first one's a fake because he caught the drifter as an osis instead of catching the bag after it had passed his support leg. It's kinda hard to explain, but if you got that, then good. If not, we'll show you the next time we get together and kick!

Just had a little session with Blake tonight!

It was mostly just single tricks because strings just weren't working.

New tricks:

Symposium DLO :D :D :D :D
Fairy Pickup

Since I hit Symp. DLO I had to hit...

BETA SMOG!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :P 8)

I just can't land Flaming Tard for anything though, I footed it like a million times again.

I had a lot of Captain Picards flying off my foot, too. :P

Blake hit some awesome stuff!

Drifter out of nowhere!

Well, I'm gonna post about last Sunday's session right now, we are gonna have a session in about 4 hours.

Last week we had a decent session. Blake was gettin' his strings down, I was doing OK, a couple new tricks, some decent strings.

It was really hard to get into the groove of things since there was a funeral service going on over in the grass. All I know is that it was for a guy named Rob and he sounded like a great guy. It's just hard to do strings with people crying in microphones, some kind of an attempt to get everyone to sing God Bless America, and just overall lowering the energy level of the entire area around them.

However, I did hit,

PS Flail
Flip Backside Smear - Never really tried it before, got it first try :)

A run with both Blurry Whirl and PS Whirl in it.

A couple other cool runs, mostly just my normal pixie shuffle.

Well, I've gotta 3D model like mad until the session later. Oh, there'll be another post later.

you forgot the 3 foot backside assassin!!!! it was awesome. I'll describe it for you :) Conrad was having a little bit of trouble hitting it at first, footing it and such. Then out of no where, he hits the first half huge but the set is kind of wild, so he does this crazy symp dex that stretches like 3 feet accross the ground and nails the move regardless of the bad set.

crazy...

Had a little session tonight with Blake. He was doing awesome! With all new 4 add tricks and whatnot!

I had a cool string tonight, mostly toe shuffle, can't remember what it was though.

New tricks!

Flip:
Fairy Legover
Fairy ss Legover
Fairy Butterfly (Fairybeater)
Fairy Illusion (Fudge)
Fairy Mirage (Fear)

And a cool link that I hit!

Fairy Legover x 2! :)

If only Josh were there :P

We'll have a session Friday though, and we'll have to try and top eachother anyways!

Later,
Conrad

Oh yeah!

September 19th, and it's my birthday! Yay! :D :D :D

Wow! I haven't posted since last September!!! Amazing!

Well, we'll probably have a session tonight, more than likely in which I'm gonna hit WHIRLING SWIRL, which is my new move of last week and maybe even DOMINATRIX, which is my new move from a few weeks ago!

Well, since it has been such a long time since I've posted...

What have I hit since the last post?

Umm...

Flaming Tard

The most beautiful Phoenix Rake EVER!!!!

Some pixie stuff, go figure :P

I was reading the results of that one competition with my tiny pigbeater and to anyone that says that my form is a "problem" I will tell you that you're wrong to your face, as well as on the forum. The weird leg thing doesn't hinder any pixie move I do, so saying it's a problem is just plain... stupid.

TINY PIXIE TRICKS ARE FUN!!!

Tiny Smog is great, too!

I had the greatest cleanest frantic set ever ONCE, but was so surprised that I just stared at it. Like is was a pixie set, what seemed like a HUGE pause, then and mirage, and it was like... stomach to chest height. A tear came to my eye. It has never happened again. :(

But, it's 2AM and I'm tired.

Later

Oh yeah,
And there's nothing wrong with my pixie set... so... ha!

Well now... it's been a LONG time! Since I posted last I've let myself go a bit. I still try to run multiple miles more than one time a week. Programming has taken a lot of my time since I graduated College and I'm now one of the lead developers at Broken Bulb Studios.

I've maybe kicked... 5 times since that last post... maybe... this must be rectified!!!

Things are finally changing for the better again and I'm on a quest to not be fat and lazy! Woo!

Had a session with Mike Green and Kendal Bain yesterday for a couple hours, and I feel fantastic today! Sessions should be much more regular in the foreseeable future. :D

OK, I can't spend too long on this post, trying to learn iOS and get a game kicked out in under 2 months is going to cause some stress.

Some unexpected highlights/expected failures:

I can still seem to:
Stepping Set
Atomic Set
Pixie Set
Fairy Set
(if I get corrected on ANY new terminology regarding pixies/fairies/butterflies I'll get out my cane and start whacking people over the head)
Whirls out of these sets
DLO's
Most of the tiltless stuff seems to be just fine.
Flipside is a little lagging on sets, but it'll come around
15+ infinities are still possible
Illusions and double downs seems pretty clean still
Even managed to hit a symposium whirl on the first try

I can't seem to:
Torque
Eggbeater (oh god my abs are a failure)
String length/stamina is WAY down

I can't wait to be shredding like my old self again! I also hope to be updating this on more of a weekly basis, 3 years is a bit too long (page 8? really?)

It is kind of strange seeing large gaps in footblogs. It is like you didn't exist for 3 years. Glad that you are back! Are you willing to kick for an hour or so after work on weekdays?

I probably won't be kicking that often, hopefully a few times a week, every day just isn't possible.
