All that stuff I hit today was using my new Pipenbag, it is really sweet now.

It went from 'bag I carry around and squish in my hands' to 'hein shred sack' without me even noticing.

I really like the feel of it.

I am gonna go finish a bag, it is looking totally sweet tits so far.

I don't read any of the serious threads. As a result I miss out on all the crazy flame wars.

I just don't care enough to read everyones empassioned replies. Also, I feel like usually the gammit of points get made within the first few posts and then puked back out over and over by others (or the same people) in different (or same) words.

Religious people make themselves look so stupid sometimes.
It's like reality is WAY too much to grasp and so they just apply a blanket statement that it's all god's doing.

I had a peek at that hotly contested philosophy thread, wow! People get so worked up!

I think Jeremy O'Wheelj said it properly with his first reply and I didn't bother to look but I bet people regurgitated the same good points for 7 more pages while Damon fought with them all.

Silly BS.

I am going to bring my kids up in a non-religious household. Not athiest - non-religious.

I just don't take a stance on believing or not-believing in "god". He is everyones stupid imaginary friend and I choose not to even let myself get sucked into the idiocy.

That doesn't mean I am spiritually devoid however. Too many mind-boggling things have happened in my life for me to discard the possibility of there being 'something' else. I don't think this something else is responsible for the existance of people or the form our solar system takes or any of that shit, that is all the result of particles smashing into eachother and the forces balancing out. I believe the most firmly in the unwaivering laws of physics. They dictate everything and they are soooo beautiful and flawless. mmmmmm physics.

I love zipping around on my bike thinking about the beautiful phyics at work that allow me to have that fun. The gyroscopic forces created by my spinning wheels resist gravities natural desire to pull me to the ground and the end result is so breathtaking and magical! I don't think people take the time to really appreciate how simple/complex the wonderful physics that control our lives is.

Last night I biked home from Vida's house as fast as I could just to get a good burn out of the ride. The ride ends in a big sweet hill that I carve down doing big huge S's. The road is usually clear because I normally come home from her place after 4 AM. :P

I did my cruise and then decided to keep going down the hill past my house because a sweet song just came on and I felt like going for more of a ride. I rode out the rest of the hill and then turned back up a parallel street to climb back up the hill to my place.

Hill climbing is one thing, but hill climbing on Hotdog with his one single gear and dimensions fit for a 12 year-old girl is a another thing. I started at the hill with a good pace and I peddled fiercely up to the my street and then said to myself "what, are you a pussy?" insinuating that I couldn't handle the rest of the hill. (big, steep-ass hill) Of course, since I gave myself the ultimatum of climbing the hill or declaring myself a pussy I went for the hill. It was fucking brutal!! I got to the top, by which point my peddle pace had dropped to "very very slow" and I was juuuust creaking my way up the last 50 feet or so.

Then came the sweet sweet reward. I hucked a 180 and gave it hell peddling with all my might as the hill pitched steeply downwards. I love that feeling, the exhileration of wind tearing your hair back and tearing up your eyes. I carved some huge S's feeling the forces of physics keeping the fun alive.

The best things in life are (nearly) free.

I rode right to my door and hopped off my bike and I was greeted with the sweetest reward, BURNING THIGHS! Motherfuck that was a brutal hill. I am going to climb it TWICE tonight.

I really think that all my biking is kickass cross training. It's making my legs get even crazier and it must be good for cardio and shit, right?

I am gonna go ride my bike to school. I have one last exam to study for.

Barf city.

I have only recieved TWO videos for Sick 3 and they are in different catagories..

I have been PM-ing and reminding people like effing mad behind the scenes.

It's rather frustrating that so many people express interest and tell me they are going to enter the comp but then throw their words out the window and just fuck off when it comes to making their promises reality.

Come on people, step up!

I will keep hounding.. in time it will pay off I am sure.

Well I was thinking of having more divisions this round.. more than just two that is.

I want to avoid the situation of having one or two clear winners and then have the rest of the field ignored.

I would idealy like to have a preferential voting system where people could pick 1st, 2nd and 3rd.. but I don't know how to set that up.

 Lil' help tech geeks?

uhhhhh.... I don't know! I mailed that fucker months ago.

Come to GRASS and I'll give you a freebie for your troubles.

That was a beautiful story Tom! Hooray for physics! The night before my first year mechanics final I decided to play footbag for 5 minutes. I was mostly practising alternating clippers and ducking clippers, but I was having difficulty getting any height. Then... BANG! it occured to me. To get the bag higher, I should follow through with my clippers. WHy? To increase the time my foot is in contact with the bag which will correspondingly increase the impulse (for a given force). The impulse results in an greater velocity and ERGO an increase in height!

ft = mv (where force is constant)

YES! and it worked too!

I also have one final left in first year! except it's not until saturday the 30th. I'll try to do a sick3 by the end of that weekend!

Slashface - thanks alot man, I will hold out on making the video until I have yours to add to it.

Check out the picture that James Randallizer made:

Image

He made it as a proposed logo for modified. I am hugely flattered! ..but it can't be used because modified is a big community of people and no one person should represent them.. you know?

Maybe my face should be cut out and replaced with a 32 or something. mmmm 32's...

Oh yeah, and how cool is it that all the bags in that picture are ones I have stitched??

James is so cool! No one's ever made something like that for me.

Tom you said you sent it months ago. That was the first one. It must have gotten lost in the mail.

I talked to you about it like a month ago, and you said that you were gonna send me another. Can you please? I sent you my only hand stitched bag for it!

Easy Griese you'll get your damn footbag! :)

I had a really quick but fruitful session tonight. :D

So, excitingly, all the sudden I can paradox torque, how wonderful!

I think before last night I had only hit it once or twice on each side and last night I was linking it out of 5's. (heh, *a* five (pheonix))

Today I hit blurry whirl>paradox torque first try on one side, then second try on the other. Suu-weet! :D

uhmm.. what else...

I fucked up tossing up to my hand RUBBERMAN!!!!!

matador bsos and the 2nd one was out of ripwalk.

spinning clipper>ripwalk rpt

ahhh I think that's all.

I am making a bag right now with some experimental techniques and it is coming out suuuuuper nice!

I can't wait to see this bag when it is done.

I always miss Vida so much when I'm not around her.

I am so excited by her presence in my life, she makes me feel really important and I really like knowing that there is a super incredible girl that likes me back and likes having me around even though I am retarded. :P

I really hope she realizes how very very much I care about her. She is the most valuable thing in my life.

I have a bad feeling that she has gotten lots of false impressions of me and as a result she has a totally wierd view of who I am. She is still certain I am totally gay and she is still very weary of trusting me.

I know everything will work out great in the end because I know all the things she fears of me, like that I am a sack of crap that's going to run off with some flousy or be mean to her or whatever, are all not things that I am ever going to do. So I know that in the end everything will work out because I really am the guy she has always wanted to find and I'm not gonna turn sour ever. I know deep inside who I am and what my real character is and I know (hope?think?) she'll figure out in time that she really does like who I am deep on the inside and that I really do genuinely give a such a huge fuck about her and that my intentions are of the purest origin. I am so excited to get the chance to be the person she *knows* she can always count on and who she can trust and all that. Vida is the most impressive girl I have ever met. She keeps doing things that are just the most absolutely ideal and all encompasingly attractive that are all permanent features of her character meaning they'll always exist. I can't even describe how thrilling this whole Vida experience is for me, Ive never met a girl anything like her. Ive never laughed with and liked someone so much. :D

I sure hope she stops doubting me soon! I am SO taken by her!

How can one imagine a better catch?
She's got the greatest big smile that electrifies me and eyes that suck me in and great juicy lips and the funniest sense of humor and a passion for footbag and making footbags and hanging out and smoking pot and making clothing and creating creative things and being adorable and she makes me so fucking excited for the rest of my life!
Oh yeah and she's got great style and she hates just the right people and she likes drawing stuff and peewee herman and she has cool toys and she has awesome ankles and she is shy about playing footbag around me now, but soon summer will come and with it there will be LOTS of footbag sessions and fun in the sun.

Yaaayyyy Vida! :D
