session 6 and 7 out of 5 days today

todays tip on step:

don't forget to lift opposite elbow on stepping tricks and bend slightly over the bag.

I'll be good at steps one day I hope.

correction on last tip on steps

opposite elbow: it needs to lift as the setting leg sets the bag and the dexing foot hops off the ground.

By doing so, I hit bellybutton high ripwalk b2b
a really good blurry whirl
a good blurry drifter
fog
step ss egg

now I need to get constant at this, and once that is done, to fix the dexing method on one leg in order to do it faster for bigger tricks!

I'm really happy from this

thanks for the props, but there's nothing achieved yet!

I need to be constant on all that and constant on a good and dialed stepping set both sides to be really happy (altough the progress makes me really happy and proud)

Today I hit stepping ss whirl BS (flipside is new)
could'nt bsos it tough, it's so new flipside, feels good.

In order to hit flip, I had to bring stepping leg as close to other foot on the ground so I could whirl, did'nt feel natural at first.

today i hit blurry drifter at 2 occasions (one sealed in a run finished with void)

vertigo strong side and pretty deep, been a while and found out what to do, midstring is another thing

flip blurry whirl whitnessed by James and looked ok

some good attempts at first half of rubberman both sides, wasn't too bad
atom b2b, been a while as well.

Tip of the day:

Using upper body helps on so many tricks and is underated

steps: for flip blur: try doing a motion while bending and lifting support leg from inside center to inside toes to lift leg in an easier way. (I understand myself)

today I was able to do a proper stepping motion on flip

it was really fun, not the highest sets altough some were pretty good, but I had a run with about 20 ripwalks inbetween bops, finished that run with like 5 or 6 consec ripwalks

I love reading your blog.
I always find it baffling how you can hit awesome spinning tricks and pixie ducking any time, but flip ripwalk is so tough. Video in the future?

todays sess:

step out of flip pdx whirl
drifter-ripwalk-ripwalk both sides

worked on getting stepping sets more acurate and more clean, so I did a lot of gyro clip - step and spin clip - step, was pretty hard at first for gyro
especially stuff like gyro clip - step ss clip or shmoe

flip pdx whirl- gyro whirl

forgot what else I worked on, but it was fun to hit some new links with steps and flip whirl

I will film myself this week for a new video, it's been a long time

todays sess:

1 contact away from gyro clip - ripwalk - spin clip - ripwalk - rpt

and 6 contacts starting from either side as well

pdx drifter- gyro legover.. I canspin from pdx drifter easier then before now

step out of gyro clip : wait to stall the bag as much as possible, I delay the bag way too much in advance.

Today I felt really inspired and motivated for a great session

Ended up playing like total crap

highlights:

gyro whirl- pdx drifter
pdx drifter-dyno-rpt
pdx drifter-vortex - sealed with a run with some tricks I don't recall

pdx drifters are way better then before, I think I figured a lot of stuff I did wrong.

sick for the 7th time in 6 months, twice in last 2 weeks.

This time I went to see a doctor, got a shitty dagnostic, he said I have nothing??? How can I have fever and be sick as hell so many times.

He told me to take some medicine, so I bought that, but it makes no sense from his diagnostic.

I'm off work until thursday, no footbag until next week I guess.

And since I got sick, my ankles have been killing me, I also felt a lot of pain in both feet, it seemed like every muscle was stretching all the time. It felt really bad.

Last night I woke up to go to the bathroom and it felt as if my right ankle was fractured, I could not even walk on it, this morning it is fine.

I will probably have to consult another doctor if this comes again, this morning all is good, but I'm staying in bed and sleeping taking it easy.

Last night rest time = 13 hours (first time I slept this much in years!)

first shred in like 2 weeks

blury whirl - ripwalk

by that I mean slury whirl - low set ripwalk

I look at my flip steps on camera from today and it disgusts me, so ugly I want to stop stepping....

I'll try stuff tomorrow.

another shitty session

I hate my flip stepping set

I figured how to do strong side step ss whirl, hit a few, one or two felt deep, but hit ratio is low.

everything sucked today

highlight is spin whirl bsos, and flip was probably the
footed pheonix-pdx torque-pdx blender first try, then tried a million times with only a few close calls

I need something good to happen in the next week to pump me up, I've had many bad news lately, got so sick, and now I'm sucking so much.

On the plus side, I refered Mathieu Soucy at my job and it looks like he will get hired, I will check that tomorrow, and I will be his trainer!
