Doesn't feel like I'm getting any better at Scrabble, yet my rating keeps rocketing.

rating: 1564 (all-time high)
W-L: 631-631 (first time Ive ever had more wins than losses in 1.5 yrs)
avg. pts/ per turn: 381/21

4 net sessions in 4 days! Made a vid of the SCFC and posted it in the vidz section. Check it out if you wish!

I freestyled today Chang. Actually I did a mix of freestyle with breakdance practice and ab workout. I guess i can't really call it breakdance yet though, as i'm just learning the most basic of basics.

lowlights:
-egg x3 (bs)
-torque bsos
-paradon>flurry
-flip whirr 2 times, cleanliness questionable

whirls and drifters fine, stepping ok, dbl downs slower but aight

pdx torques, symple swirls, pdx drifters are hell on my back, even doing a ducking string gave me an awful pinch.

This weekend, I won the Southeastern Net Championships Open Doubles title with my partner Emmanuel Bouchard. We had never played together before. In the final match, we eeked out a victory over Ken Hamric and Chris Siebert 15-5, 3-15, 15-13.

I hope that footage of some of the play makes it to the internet. there were several players taping. Manu is basically the king of net and being on the court with him was eye-opening. He is like the net version of vasek Klouda, except that he has dominated for a longer period of time: 10 years. He is the best player of our time and his feet are quicker than shit.

Anyway, just wanted to announce to my less than loyal fane base, which declines with evey post, that I won my first ever net title. I'm the Southeastern US champ of doubles net! I think I'm gunna make a title belt video.

Congrats on the net title!! Manu is so crazy to watch, I got to ref for the ECC 2 years ago. Manu and Shultz VS Vince Bradley and Jamie Lepley, that was awesome.

Funny that your blog was on top today, becuase just yesterday I watched your wall!! and when birds attack videos. Whenever I'm feeling down, I just watch those 2 videos and it makes my day

That's pretty cool that you partnered with Manu. I can't imagine a net player switching to freestyle and being able to compete at the level you are doing in net. Props on the successful transition to net. You obviously put in a lot of time and effort, and it's paying off.

I usually think of it in the opposite way. "Oh, Jeremy's not busting awesome moves that make me cream myself anymore . . . not much reason to read his blog." But Ken makes an awesome point there. It's a major accomplishment and should be better recognized! Props Jeremy.

Note: I think the above post may come off wrong, but I mean well.

Thanks for everyone's recent comments! They meant a lot to me.

In recent "freestyle" news, I was walking the late night streets of San Francisco with Eric Wulff, Carol Wedemeyer, Carol's nephew, and PT Lovern, and what did yuo happen to pass on our way to the car . . . ?

A footbag circle, made up of about 8 fairly tipsy asian teen-to-adultish people. Only PT (the world champ net player) and I stayed to "hack," while the other three went home, but it was sooo much fun. They offered us beer and were impressed when we could kick the hack 3 times to ourselves before passing it on. We stayed for probably 45 minutes, probably because we were already tipsy when we arrives and it was an easy way to get a free drink. I busted out some one and two add tricks, one three (smear) with non-hacky shoes and a sipa, and PT busted out some freestyle tricks himself! I never thought I'd see the day when PT would play freestyle. Every time I mention a word of it at net practice he tells me that Im "on probation."

Just thought I'd share a funny story. I told them (the hackers) about Eric and Carol after they left, and made sure to mention the fact that PT and I were in a movie coming out soon, which had Hacky in it.
