Wow, crazy blast from the past. Look how young he looks! But yeah, don't use that one as a model, since it's not even close to clean. I'm not sure why drillbit posted that one... here are two dimmiests by Zac which are much better:

sorry, yes it was "blast from the past" that initially compelled me

but also there is some inspiration i think. watching Zac work out the mechanics of the problem compared to his skill now, for me that stuff is inspirational.

Thanks everyone!

Bad news time... My left knee has been bothering me lately and I just tried to play on my lunch break. It's gotten much worse. Just going into clipper position stung. I'm not sure what to do, but it seems I won't be playing footbag hard. I'll have to focus on core and upper body workouts for a little bit. Not sure what to do to help the healing process. Well, off to the health and injuries sub forum.

Great job Tony...I haven't checked your blog in a while (too busy at work lately) and was surprised to see how much you've improved.

I just my first triple dex (blurriest) last saturday, so I know how exciting that must be.

btw, if you can hit blurry whirl and dimmiest (neither of which I have hit), then you probably can hit blurriest too? Maybe give that a try? Of course, if your knee is still bothering, then I'd say hold off on that.

man, I gotta start setting more specific goals for myself as well...looks like whatever you're doing is really paying off :)

Time in Zone: 1:00
AVG BPM: 97
Peak BPM: 149

Did some random upper body stregth moves. 15 and 20 lb dumbbells. knocked out 50 crunches. But as usual without a set out program to follow I didn't work that hard...

Did X Stretch tonight. With my Wife! Was pretty excited that she chose to join me. Still trying to give my knee time to heal.

Felt nice. I'm beggining to wonder if Back hero didn't contribute to my knee hurting. I might have pushed it too hard last time. I asked Natel if she would do P90X with me when I do it in the fall and she was surprised that I was waiting so long. I explained that I wanted to keep footbag going, but she's afraid that I'll lose momentum with my workouts, which I can see and am fearful of myself. She did mention that maybe I could do both and I probably could. It would be kinda like P90X Double Routines but with Footbag instead of Cardio in the morning.

Kam, my stepping set is very weak so I don' think blurriest would be possible at the moment, but that's one of the things I plan on skooling soon. I would love to have another strong set other than pixie.

Did Yoga X tonight. It's from P90X as well. I think I did pretty good, but there was a lot of moves I just couldn't do. The work out is also 1.5 hours long. The first 45 mins you SWEAT! then it gets into balance poses.

My knee isn't getting any better. I think I'll take some more time off footbag. And the more I think about it and the more I do random P90X workouts the more I want to start it. With my new work position I start an hour later than I used to so I may be able to work out in the morning. Also, I want to stitch. I plan to still work on my upper body strength in the next week, but really let me knee rest.

30 minute upper body weightlifting. Mostly sitting due to my left knee. I don't like it. But I did some pull ups and push ups and lots of work with 20 lb dumbbells. I feel like I worked out well, but I wish my knee would get better.

I finished my second USL 32 panel tonight. I'm really disapointed with it and will be emptying the filler so as not to waste it. I need to make a smaller template as this one is huge. I'm not sure how much smaller to make it though.

Bleed holes are way to big in this one. I'm not sure if tightening the gather would have helped that or not. I think I want to make smaller bags as a hole. And I'm thinking of switching to 2 stitch just for the time it takes to make them. I need to pump out a few so that I can make some that are good and usable as my usable stock is dwindling due to holes and I don't have the cash to buy new bags even though there are about 6 stitchers bags I would love to try.

Stitching advice?

Spent the day at my grandpa's at "The Lake." It was fun, I went swimming a few times and stitched an entire footbag that I think I'm happier with. I'm currently out of filler so I can't see the end product, but I think I was a lot evener with my stitching and gather this time around, and it seems to be closer to the right size. Pics when I close her up. I stitched most of it while sitting on a rock at the beach. it was nice.

I also got in an Ab Ripper X workout while there. Only 17 minutes, but it still felt good.

I'm starting P90X tomorrow. I feel my momentum waning and I still have a lot of fat to get rid of. I'm officially doing the Classic schedule, but I think I want it to be more like doubles, but with Footbag as cardio in the morning. I'm not sure if my body will allow me to do it the morning. I'm hoping that by doing something I love in the morning I'll be able to push myself to get out of bed. Either way I'll have my lunch time workouts to play still.

I'm also going to really try to follow the Portion Plan of the workout. I've never followed the nutrition guide for a program before so this will be interesting. I'm also very picky so that may factor into it.

Wish me luck.

good luck man! im getting my grandma to download p90x onto her 1TB hard drive haha once she she does that ill be doin it too.

so you think footbag can replace interval sprints in the morning? i just been my stuff every day and sprinting for like 25 mins in the morning. but i would love to play footbag instead.

also how do you know how many calories your burning every day? you put it at the end of your posts.

I'm not sure if footbag could replace cardio intervals in the sense that it will give the same results, but it's definately a good cardio workout and I want to be doing something I love!

On the calorie subject, I got myself a nice heart rate monitor. It gives me all the information you see in my posts. I highly recommend one, time to put it on your birthday/xmas wishlist. lol I picked mine up for about $60 from amazon.

P90X Fit Test Results:

Resting Heart rate: 48
Pull Ups: 1
Vertical Leap: 6"
Push ups: 23
Toe Reach: -3"
Wall Squat: 1 min 1 sec
Bicep Curls: 12 w/ 20 lb
In & Outs: 36
Heart Rate Maximizer: 167, 121, 107, 93, 91

About 30 minutes:

Time in Zone: 2:18
AVG BPM: 92
Peak BPM: 167

P90X Day 1 : Chest and Back & Ab Ripper X

It's 10:45pm and I just finished P90X day 1. I didn't want to be doing it so late, but life got in the way in the form of a janitorial job our friends have and asked us to do today at the last minute since they were stuck out of town. Made for a long night. Anyways, I rocked Chest and Back. Awesome workout and I really feel the pain. I can't wait for plyo tomorrow. I have no idea what to expect.
