Let me clarify that my eclipse is actually a eclipse to clipper plant. Like a symposium hop-over land clipper. Watch this to see what i call Eclipse and Erik calls "catwalk".
Video

(Disclaimer-Video is not of above combo...it just shows my sailling eclipse>blurry whirl)

I'm not an expert on eclipses but I'm fairly certain that you have to release the bag before you hit the ground. I don't know what it's called otherwise (catwalk maybe?).

None the less: PROPS for hitting a stpping ducking anything out of that!!

Why would anyone release their eclipse? What can you do out of an eclipse thats set in the air? Duck it, spin out of it and downtime it. Thats it. Give me a month and I'll hit Sailing"eclipse">Jani. :D

I just watched that FAT video, and yeah, that trick isn't an eclipse, it's what Felix calls a catwalk. It's real stylish, and it has the advantage over eclipse that you can play out of it with stuff like stepping and furious. Keep in mind though, that catwalk and eclipse are completely different tricks.

Adam, when you say you've hit 28 eclipses, did you mean 28 catwalks? If so, you should let Lon know so he can post the correct records for both.

Yeah, catwalks are cool. They should definitely have a separate record from eclipses.

As for me: PS Whirl x5! 8)

because that's how you do an eclipse. catwalks are way cool, too, though. it was nasty the other night in the show when you did catwalk > ss cat > ss cat> stepping ss cat > stepping ss cat. that's definitely got to make it online.

Word up to M-slice!

One for the money......
Porque>Spinning Whirl

One for the show.....
Blurriest>Tomahawk (whoa.....I actually learned how to blurriest properly after hitting for the first time back in 2004)

One to get ready......
Pixie tapdown>Food

Now GO GO GO (play footbag that is).
