a nice trip to clarksville

coleman inflatable air matress-- super worth the monies. it was like a better, cheper, bigger bed than the one i currently sleep on.

bought some shoes. nikes. theyre yellow. sweet. spencos. awesome.

holly got some parts to an outfit for fridays graphic design opening (our student show for the year). ive been trying to get nice clothes so im not an ambarassment when im in public. and so im cool. (psh)

i hope we get into the show. itd suck not to, and have other classmates shitty work get in. i hate other peoples opinions.

well. its dinner time i guess.

maybe sesh report tomorrow. it looks like itll be big, since none of us have shredded for a week +.

when we went to clarksville, we looked inside a bunch of shoe stores, and turns out adidas is not only making more climas, but theyve come out with new colors! too bad they are 70 bucks though. they were hottt.

studying for history of scientific thought midterms....

today was justifying. i think thats a word. or makes sense...

did some work at the school. (printmaking). turned out well. prepared to turn in the graphic design show entries (gotta flap them!) hope i remember...

we shredded with lee, and then his friend showed up late to the sesh.

he hit so much cool shit. ripwalk swirls. double blender. alpine porque. ducking barfly.

holly did reeeeally well tonight too. she hit some monster length strings, like 12 contacts one time. shes really progressing.

i dont think i played so well. i hit some big tricks, but i felt shitty, and i guess i was struggling since i left my glasses strap at home. i did manage to hit some stuff like atoms, matador, bed, pdx eggs, blurs etc. i like xdexy stuff. fear, atom, nukes etc. i wish i could bsos that shit easier. one day (when i practice daily) (

the whole sesh i was kinda flustered. not to the point of huffing and puffing or shit, but i was kinda off. i left my footbag at home, and we ended up using a funk.no glasses strap. people kept coming up and asking questions. i dont think i like explaining the sport anymore. just leave me alone. ill do tricks if you shut up. and im worried that someones gonna jack our shit, like all the time from people just standing near.

jeez. i guess its time to work some more.

If I did a design in Photoshop would you then put it together for me? I haven't done any webdesign for a long time and bet I'm too rusty.

of course i would! (high resolution files are best cause i can tweak those)

and as brian already said, yesterday's session was fucking rad. i hit a couple long strings where i just kept going... suprised the bag was actually landing on my foot!! how weird is that?! and the string was both sided.

For what it's worth, doing really late (with a pause) far legovers will help you with your speed on the second dex. Hope it helps!

brian and i are going to be in our school's graphic design show this friday! brian got two peices into the show, and i got one! at the show they will announce two awards and will also announce the top 3 of each category.

hey guys hope you own that show. good news - emily & i are moving to e.nashville & we'll be there by the end of Oct.; we got in on a fantastic 4-plex close to shelby park. yay no more suburbs! so we're going to start scheduling regular net sessions at centennial park on saturday afternoons & it would be nice if we could coordinate schedules.

so this house-sitting thing is pretty fuckin sweet. the bed is tempurpedic or something, it's like 5 bedrooms with 3 baths, big screens everywhere, hd tv in the bedroom, sweet secluded back porch, and cute animals! wow, this is awesome!

the design show went well last night. i took pictures, but ill have to post them later. most people were turned off by my peice cause it has naked people in it, but oh well. everyone loved brians peices. we've really been enjoying our weekend.

oh yeah! and the house we are sitting for is in a cul-da-sac and its perfect for footbag!

these are the things we got in a graphic design show at our college, judged by some guy, and our teachers. it was lots of fun, and we had lots of people show up just for us!

brians brochure- i heard it almost got 3rd, but i used fake text. oh well.

hollys def got more attention, and thats a good thing! it was placed in a great spot in the show, and lots of people ended up seeing naked people, and investigating further!

im very proud of holly, and im glad we both made it in the show. the seniors won all the awards, except jurors choice, a classmate of ours (we agree that piece was not that great...)

also, not pictured is my card set, that i will take pictures of some other time!

this past weekend has been really awesome.

we've been house sitting, and this house is amazing. so many nice things. hd tv in the bedroom. a big screen up stairs, that we wii on.

super comfortable furnature, and tempurpedic bed foam. a screened in back porch, and two fridges (we had to stock them...

) one downside is all the plants and animals. lots of shit to feed and water. but their pets are very well behaved!

but so far, weve had some dank ass hamburgers, and lots of homework. and lots of laying around. and video games.

im pretty sure were gonna footbag tomorrow evening or something. i dont really know, but sometime.

poetry is okay. ive been reading alot of it, and this one author isnt too bad.

i guess i need to do something... ive got a book to read, and footbags to make...

we've been working hard this semester... as you can tell from how much we've posted. anyway, here is a new design im working on. its a transformers ad:

we had to choose an idiom and a product. these just fit so well together, i had to do it.

ive also been working on fixing the hackrifice website for erik. looks like things will be fixed soon.

Thanks SO much! They actually came right in time for my birthday, though that was probably a fluke.

I LOVE the hat!! If any one trucker hat could convince me to wear a trucker hat again it'd be this one, it's so fun and cool!

Also, the mod job on the climas is incredible, I can't do shit like this! haha

ive been reading ee cummings work. i like how it staggers when you look at it, but when you read it it works.

we had a topic we were supposed to do for that ad (picked from a hat). mine was toystore (i cheated) , so im doing my cw's, and some string (a co-op project im getting started on) and it had to use a store. so i picked yoyonation. also, we had to use an idiom, and have body copy. some people said that it was a dumb idea to draw topics, so they chose their own.

im ready for a nap. and an extra week for everything.

its friday. im at work.

for 4 more hours.

we finished most of our midterms with all appendages attached.

we both got an 80 on our scientific thought mid term. its a B.

we both have presentations on that class on tuesday, but thats tuesday.

i gave a report on ee cummings for english. i think i did okay. i was really nervous. for some reason, i get nervous real bad when i have to present. i guess i just go too fast and look retarded. then its over.

i have a printmaking critique tuesday, and our graphic design is also due tuesday. (then we get one day off for fall break, but not from work).

i think my ad is cool enough, i wish i knew more about brushes and whatnot in ps. it just dosent jump. i dont want to add color.

anyways, i made cool prints this far, and i want to show a few of them. look forward to it next week.

i need to stitch, but i have no time.

we're still house sitting. its still awesome. i watched on demand about battle rifles today and yesterday. i like learning about stuff that matters.

and i want to start drawing more. ill have to take illustration next fall, and i dont draw at all anymore.

well. i guess i should be working.

if Lee sees this, call me. we need to shred tomorrow/sunday.

if you have a challenge, drop it in here. i want to hit something new, so any drills or tricks are cool. i just started phasing, so make me hit a good sick 3 or something.
