Is there any way to increase my ankle crank?
I wish I had a better picture, but this is aproximately what my crank looks like:

which I'd say is above average. But my ancles didn't start out like that, I had to work for it. When I started playing it took seriously 2 months of stretching before I could even hit inside stall. So how did I do it? Simple, obsession.
For about 3 years I stood on my ancles for hours a day. Whenever I wasn't sitting down I was stretching my ancles. I would stretch them while reading, while talking with friends, while... you get the idea. Somewhere there's a very very old video of me shreding barefoot doing smear and double leg over cought on my sole.
I would not recomend that anyone try this.
All of that streching really did help for things like fridgidosis and flapper, but in my experience if you have bad clippers, you don't need to stretch more, you need better form. Along with obsessively stretching I would rotate my foot, trying to get a feel for which muscle did what. I would stand in clipper position tensing different muscles pulling my foot into different positions until I I was happy with my body position. I've taken countless people with "bad" crank and gotten them into the right position just by teaching them what muscles to pay attention to.
Lately I've been working on my position again, I'd like to get my clippers flatter so I can catch the bag futher towards my heel.
