Well yeah, 7-11s are around. Though the one in my neighbourhood closed down because it was robbed too many times.

Now I only see them downtown.

It's not that the rest of the world doesn't have Slurpees, the point is that they apparently suck from everywhere other than Winnipeg. Or, at the very least, Winnipeg has the best and Slurpee consumption there is higher than anywhere else.

This topic is really weird. I keep getting so many signs! Like, I discussed all this Slurpee talk with the guys and then we watched the Simpsons. Homer was at Kwik-E-Mart so of course you could see the Squishees slushing around in the background. Then the next day (yesterday) Paul & I went to the Toronto Argonauts game (vs the Edmonton Eskimos) and there was a big giant 7-11 banner. And ironically, they weren't serving Slushees; the snack servers were walking around selling Icees! I have never seen so many Icees at once, nevermind balancing atop someone's head.

I've been seriously craving slushies because of all this. It didn't help that I was talking to Manna on msn and he kept talking about Slurpees and trying to make me jealous.... jerk.

So I was pretty happy at the game because I think Icees are the most delicious.

Notice the 7-11 banner in the background.

See, they're TOO COOL! And I love that the bear's riding an ice chunk like a snowboard.

Paul & I determined that in preparation for Hackrifice, besides training and building my routine

, I am going to test the Slurpees here right before I leave, so that I can accurately compare them to those from Winnipeg.

After all of this we'll see if Icees continue to be my favourite.

I can't believe how far this has gone.

The Slurpee polar bear shredding it up with a footbag, idealy attempting to hit "blizzard" or "freeze" (I forget what freeze is, but I think it involves eclipse). The colors should primarily be red, blue and white.

i dont think there is a better ice drink than a Slurpee from Winterpeg!
we should have comps for who can driink there Slurpee the fasts.
like how they had little silly comps at shrEdmonton.
