Shroeder's term is up? Wow, didn't notice that one. Are there any candidates or whatnot?

I'll have to talk to Andre about this, ja?

Yeah, the CDU (Christian democrates, right wing party) was supposed to take a 45% or so win but it turned out to be 35% for CDU and 34% Schröder's SPD. Now they're all pretty messed up cause they can't choose the chancellor and who are going to form the government and with who, cause the liberals (FPD) got 10%, the left wing 9% and the green party got, what, about 8%?

I really hope they can pull it back together soon, cause Germany is the biggest economy power in the EU and it affects the other countries (like Finland) too.

Oh, the CDU's candidate for chancellor is Angela Merkel, they say she'd be the next Thatcher. :) Anyways, the EU has a bit problems at the moment because the French and Dutch voters rejected the EU constitution (for wrong reasons in my opinion).

-------

I shredded yesterday, you'll have to wait til afternoon to get the comments ---> now I have to dash to school. I hope they won't wipe my memory out at school this time. :D
Today some shredding too hopefully!

Wednesday 21-9-2005
14) GOOD

Time: 1h
Comments: OK, obviously I'm getting an Alzheimer or something. :D I sure did remember my yesterday session this afternoon but now at 9pm it's gone again...
Well, at least I practised shredding in "good angles" and not trying to move very much while the run because I'm going to start making a film. I also kicked my NEW VIRPPA-BAG for breaking it in. I just got it yesterday, I'll take some pics if I remember.
I could have taken the school's camera yesterday but there was no empty Hi8 casettes. :(
I took it pretty easy but had really good time.
Highlights: some tripless links at least, guiltless combos and tiltless runs
What sucked: ---

Thursday 22-9-2005
15) GOOD

Time: a bit less than 1h
Comments: I hit at least 30 contacts tiltless. Almost ss butterfly > whirl > op butterfly > rpt, which is a challenge. I still practised the angles for filming. Skooled a bit Drifters and Torques, they damn right need to be a lot more better. Hit some old challenges again.
Highlights: 30 tiltless, good guiltless CLIPPER combos
What sucked: the drifters and torques are a bit crappy

Today's plans: Go watch TV, then go to bed.

OK, I might get a permission to take the digital video cam home with me today for the whole weekend! :D Yesterday I bought two casettes for the filming, now all I need is the camera.
Though next week we'll have the exam week, first on Tuesday math, on Wednesday "health knowledge", on Thursday English, on Friday Finnish and then on the next Monday German. And on next Tuesday also Cooper's test, a 12-minute running test, so I'll be quite busy. I'm not sure if I'll start filming already at weekend or then after the exams...

Well, anyways there'll be heck of a lot editing for me and one of my friends because we should make a edit a short clip for the school's 50-year "anniversary". And there are like dozens of casettes of material from the past 20 years. 8O Thank God our history teacher said he's going to choose a few of them and we don't have to watch them all. :)

I got the camera!:D

I'm still at school and I should have music lessons now but the teacher left somewhere and isn't here at all --> early weekend. :)
Too bad I couldn't catch the bus and have to wait for an hour for the next one (only 30min left though).

Let the filming start, I can read for the exams later this weekend! 8)

Oookay, since the last session description I've played twice.

Friday 2005-9-23
16) GOOD

Time: 1h
Comments: Filming started! I don't want to "spoil" the upcoming vid so I don't tell any details.
Anyways, the level was a bit lower than usual (i.e. the runs weren't as long as usual, I dropped many of the harder combos etc.) but I guess it was because I concentrated too much to the camera and didn't shred "as I use to". So I didn't drink even half liters cause I forgot to do it and I tried to force myself to continue straight after the drop (I wanted to get as much footage as possible --> maybe too much, which then lacked the level :D).
Still, it was a good session.
(I think it was the first time I hit Smudge.)
Highlights: Filming started, some good stuff
What sucked: Too much trying

Saturday 2005-9-24
17) GOOD

Time: 1h 20min
Comments: Filming continued, the level of shred was IMO better than on Friday though it could've been better too. I even remembered to drink this time.
I got the first 90min tape full, I've got another one though.
Highlights: Filming is nice
What sucked: I've done better, I just should get them on tape.

Today's plans (Sunday): I think I'll go running first and then continue filming because tomorrow I'll have to take it back to school.
Next week are the exams too, I've already read some stuff but I think I should still read more...

-----------

I just watched Bila Lavice for the first time --> 8O Shocked! It was huge! The last combo probably is - like someone said - one of the best runs ever done/taped in the history of footbag.

I have to say that Anssi is right about contacting Felix and secondly, I've seen Felix "live" twice and played with him once. As far as I know, Anssi shreds all the time with him (anyways, a lot more!). :) ...send Felix a pm.

About the film: I'm planning to make more filming (to get more quality that is hidden there somewhere... :? ) and for that I need to borrow the school's cam again --> now I've got the exam week and lots of reading.
And after the filming I'll take the timecodes and then do the final editing at school (I don't have an editing programme at home :( ). So a lot of work but I'm planning to start on next week and hopefully I'll get it done fast.

---

since last entry I've had one session (18) but I'll go to shred now instead of writing.:)

*A short post*
I played for 30min yesterday, had to stop early because my back has hurt a bit since last weekend. Anyways, I hit 50 tiltless with last one being a flying clipper! :D That was a challenge. I went the first 40 or so with just toes and then did ten infinities in the end-->the fiftieth was a flying clipper but, as I suck at flying tricks, I dropped after the kick.

OK, today the school ended at 13.00. and I was already running a bit. And now I'm going to read for tomorrow's English exam and for the Finnish exam on Friday. :P

Äh, still no time to write anything longer.

I'm off shredding for a while because of my back, hopefully the stretching'll help.

If my calculations are correct, I've had 21 sessions now in September. Now it's November, time to start breaking that.
...nah, I'm not sure. My back is hurting me if I try to shred too hard, I'll get it fixed first and then keep on shredding 100%.

----

Yeah, this "double knee pop" whatever is such a cool trick. :D Does any of the shredders do just hacky sacking? I mean just goofing around like in the start when the most awesome tricks were pendulum and walkover? :) I did this yesterday and found it really fun! Definitely a good way to keep the touch if you can't shred hard.

Two sessions already this month.

I got my brother, 11yrs, finally start playing with me! He'll be freaking guiltless in a year if he'll stick with the sport, I'll swear that!

OK, Aapo can do a couple of inside kicks at the moment and even pass the bag back most of the time. He even got a clipper kick!
I'll make my parents to get him Lavers if he's going to be really interested. The best of all is that he plays soccer at the moment and he's really bothsided at it, i.e. his left foot is better but his right foot is almost as good! :)
No more shredding alone.

...hopefully I'll get this damn back back in order.

Tomorrow the Cooper's 12-minute running test...

Crap. My back's killing me.
Today I just went running after school thinking about tomorrow's Cooper's test and after it the back was really "angry" at me. I think I have to go to see a doctor or something, I want to be able to go to Turku to shred then. So I guess no Cooper's test tomorrow :? (which actually isn't a big relief to me, because long distance running is a thing I'm pretty good at and this is a part of my sports grade. Although I don't think it'll really matter much in my case, but I usually always have some problems when we should run it - and then I'm going to run it alone in November when it's already damn cold...;) ).

Still, I was training Aapo for about an hour. I wasn't kicking at all but gave him advice etc. He did pretty good in my opinion: his kicking record is now 8 or 9 and he also managed to do toe stall a couple of times, both sides of course. :D

----

I have the camera again. I'm not planning to film more at the moment, I'll just get the timecodes so that I don't have to spend so much time for editing (I have to do it at school).

So the school nurse said that I should be still at least over the weekend; the back pain is probably caused by just a bit strained lower back muscle. Hope it won't harm me further than that - I'm pretty sure already that it'll be hard to start shredding again, the touch is all gone after a week.
Yeah, Aapo is still kicking and some of his friends (11yrs too) are a bit interested, he's said. They have some kind of a boom there; these pre-teenagers don't even kick with the usual crappy 32s that were around during the last two booms, they just kick with some bean bags that are about the size of a fist...
I'll make sure that Aapo's enthusiasm won't finish when this boom does, I'll make him continue. Because I know what's best for my brother, and that is to be the youngest World Champion. :D Besides, it sucks to kick always alone.

-------------

Funny thing happened on Tuesday: some literature group at our school were supposed to make a film, but the camera was at my home (with permission of course). No problem, I just had to drive with the teacher to pick it up.
Too bad that I was supposed to start to write the timecodes down but hadn't had time to do it on Monday. I'll ask tomorrow if I can borrow it over the weekend, then I'd have at least something useful and footbag related to do while I can't shred. :)

My parents just discovered a new bad-ish thing footbag has probably caused me: the muscles of the insides of my knees are a lot more stronger and bigger than the outsides. So I have to start doing other kinds of excercises too to achieve more normal muscle balance. (I think it's only a good thing).

No shredding in Mouhijärvi, I'm fixing my back and Aapo is ill at the moment.
I can feel footbag scene rising it's head in Mouhijärvi. ;)
