Hi guys I have bad news. I have to paint the living room this weekend, so no more shred in their. But as soon as everything neccesary in the house is done, I will start with the shred room. I'll talk to the electrician and tell him to install a second connection on the ceiling. SO we have an well lit place to shred.
Btw. any desing ideas for the room are welcome! The room is about ~ 25 - 29 qm, the ceiling is 2.70 m high. I hope you modified guys are bubbling over with ideas :)

Hey no worries, here at my house there's still a free room where we
could shred. It's about 15qm big, so it should suffice. We can all shred
here as well!

edit: Here's my first scratch:

Yesterday Daryl and me met at the Express Brass Band gig at the Café
Marat. (Where I had my first cameo with the band - played Tuba on
'Free my people'! :) )

We shredded in the entry hallway for a while, totally drunk, but it was fun.
Nothing spectacular was hit, though Daryl had some good solid strings.
I had Drunken-Eggbeater-In-Pants on my foot :)

This week I was at the doctor's twice; had my veins checked, where
everything seemed to be ok, and then I went to the Orthopedic again,
who couldn't see any damage in my calf. Next week I'll have a
magnetic resonance imaging done, to see what's going on.
I really want to know what's going on now - It's fucked to have an inury
and not know what it is.

I was just checking on the thread i started on girls shredding,
guess what, Jane Zerbe posted some of her views on the matter :)
It was very interesting to read and well put together, but what
really stoked me ,was her giving Bea props for all her progress !
She also wants Bea to be on Shreditas.com, and requested a vid :D

Later on, i'll go to Bjoerns house to shred, Mike from landshut
will also be there...
My plan is to drill and to get a decent sick 3 combo on tape,
so i can take part in the sick 3 online contest.
Where are the Hunters ( especially Max, havent kicked with u
in a while..), will they come too ?

See u all later,
d-man

We will be there, but I don't think I can stay long enough to watch a video. Since I have to get up at six a.m tomorrow. We should really try to get some Sick 3 combos on tape! They don't need any editing so I can upload them in no time. I hope the room is big enough for at leats 2 people playing cause with 5 ppl it's more waiting then playing :)

Well, no self-serving then

The room is not too big, but one shredding at a time will do, I guess.

Today was a public holyday, so the gym were we
usually shred was closed, but we all got down to
play at Bjoerns house.
We were a gang of five people, Bjoern, Bea, Max
Mike from landshut and me.
The room itself has a nice wooden floor but its
kinda small, so we had a circle going right away.

It was kool to have Mike within our ranks today, cause
i find people, who i dont shred with much very inspiring.
He hit some nice moves/combos that i havent
seen live and in color yet :
pixie whirl, dimwalk>diving clipper, pixie ducking xbody rake...
Mike gonna shred with us more often i hope !

Unfortunateley Bjoern couldnt play long due to his calf injury,
and we still dont know anything about its nature and its cure
But he will see two doctors this week i think, and hopefully
they come up with a plan.
Bea had another good day of pixies and stepping, hitting magellan
and pixie legover bsos again. There was also a smooth ripwalk thrown
in for spite  . I also spotted sidewalk, dimwalk...
Do i need to say more ? Pull your sox up, boys, we gonna get some
Bea footage together for shreditas.com for y'all to see !
And Max ? The boy is going guiltless, thats for sure...the runs
are long, the moves explosive and there is variety and style to it too.
I'm pretty new to this, and my string memory hard drive doesnt have
the best ram, but i'm sure that mr Hunter or Bjoern are able to provide
more details.
From my side there isnt any ground-breaking stuff to report, i just
realized again how much work there is ahead of me.
Due to rooms smallness, there wasnt any space for warming up
and drilling, and i really need a lot of that still.
I stepped in the arena right away and it took ages before i had
some half decent stuff going on. There was one run, where i hit
magellan and smear midstring, i also hit pixie ss clip, clipper ss
pick up, pdx mirage and two concecutive pixie mirages.
The only really satisfying thing for me though was happening
at the end of the session : i finally hit pixie legover>pixie legover

There also was some filming going on, but for various reasons, we
didnt manage to get foottage for the online sick 3 contest, but i
assume we get it done next monday.

As Daryl wrote, we played at Bjoerns place. I tell you the bad thing first, I cracked my ankle kinda bad yesterday, and I guess I won't be able to play for maybe one week or more. Anyway the session was good! I finally managed to do rather long strings again :) Long runs a way more satisfactoning than short combos! I also hit some new tstuff: Pixie Whirl, PDX Whirl bsos, Dimwalk > Whirl bsos. I really enjoyed playing with our crew yesterday, it was cool except for that stupid ankle thing :( (I was doing Whirl > SS Whirl and I was already tired back then)

Max, how's your ankle?
I'd really like to know how many contacts that one long run of yours was!
sNale wrote:I really enjoyed playing with our crew yesterday
That's cool. For me it was the worst session I've had for ages. My
legs hurt like shit, I couldn't hit the easiest tricks, it just didn't
work that day. I forced myself to take a longer healing break now,
but it's hard no to play. It's hard to resist.

---
2 days ago I waxed my Sorbi-Bag. It was laying next to candle which
suddenly started to leak. In no time, half the bag was covered with wax.
I haven't gotten everything out yet, but it doesn't matter that much,
because:

My Abshire mini is here! 11 weeks after ordering it. Thanks to Richie,
who has made me another one after the first one got lost because of
Eric Windsor. I hope Richie got his money.

It's SMALL! I can't remember Max's Abshire to have been that small. I'm
curious of how it will break in. It's a mere 4cm in diameter now (my
Sorbi-Bag is about 5.3cm).

---
Went to the doctor to get a socalled "Kernspin Tomographie" (Magnetic
Resonance Imaging) of my calf. Nice pictures, but the doctor couldn't
find anything. Maybe it's because my calf didn't hurt when it was scanned.
I'll be at the doctor again in 2 hours. To be continued...

That's tough! But hopefully the pain is gone completly after that periode of time. So I guess we just have to swallow the bitter pill and accepte that you won't play :(

Btw. I played a bit with Bea yesterday in my room (wich is becoming emptier all the time :)) and I mostly tested if I can already crank my ankle for clipper again, it worked quite good and I assume to play on 100% on monday. See you there.

8. November 2004
Monday evening gym session as usual: Bea, Bjoern, Daryl and I :)
I start this entry with a copy of my Footbag goals, wich I set on July the 6th this year:
Goals I want to achive this summer:
(Ordered from top priority to lowest)
1. Get my inifinities down to at least 20 in a row.
My record now is 9.
2. School osis a lot!
3. Get my pixie set so far, I can use it midrun!
4. Having an easy time on drills like: Butterfly > Osis > SS Butterfly ...
5. Drill Steeping SS anything
6. Hitting Ripwalk > Ripwalk
On August the 25th I also decide to get Dimwalk down, so I can add this as 7th goal.

So far so good; Today I finally did 20 Infinities => Goal 1 achieved
I also managed to hit 7 or 8 toe set dlo in a row and 4 on my flipside.

Now on to my second goal OSIS, I drilled Osis a lot and I feel really more comfortable with that move now, but it is still to unsteady, drilling continues.

Goal 3 was about my pixie set and I can proudly say that I achieved that one :) (Except for Dimwalk, but I will come to this one.

Goal 4 was that stupid drill =) I can hit it more often now but I'm far away from begin satisfied.

I will soon continue to drill my (goal 5) stepping set (the "new" the "right" way, plant setting leg frist ect.), so that set is on my agenda again.

I hit Ripwalk back to back and therewith Goal 6 is achieved

Last but not least Dimwalk, this move is still giveing my a hard time :( But I want and will get that one down!

3 out of 7 still a lot to do :D Next time I will set up new goals.
And please leave your comments in here! I would love to read what you guys think.

So long Max

That was my last session this year before taking the 4-6 week injury
break to let my calf heal off.

Nothing too spectacular, I had a hard time going for runs, seems I lost
so much control over the past 3 months where I couldn't play properly.

came close to my sick3 again: Blur>Dimwalk>Torque roll off

New move:
Reverse Whirl (both sides)
Also Reverse Whirl midrun twice. They feel a lot easier than whirls.

I came a bit closer to Pixie Eggbeater..

Yes, it was a good one today
Props to Mr Hunter for the achievement of some of his goals,
twenty infinities, mi leckst am arsch or in english, awesome!
Training schedules, drill discipline and a bold set of goals, clearly
is the way forward, especially for us germans...
No, really i congratulate you on your whole progress in general, long
strings last session and cool consecutives this time, its all good :)

This session was Bjoerns last one for a couple of weeks unfortunatly,
but regardless of his calf problem, he played well. Especially one
move did it for me : pixie ducking mirage ! Sweet. There also where
drifters and a cool combo eggbeater>butterfly>double legover...he
will tell you more...

Bea was also shining, we had a good drilling session and when we did
runs, her highlights were blur, stepping legover, dimwalk. Strings were
solid, the style great as always...only my memory sucks.

Well, i finally hit symposium mirage, and not only once. Ducking practice
proved useful, i ducked my pixie set twice, but it isnt solid enough to
link any dex to it yet...
Three consecutive clippers on my flip, pixie legover>pixie legover twice,
and in one run i hit smear, pixie legover and bsos illusions 8)
Strings are getting longer, more versatile and closer to tiltless...but as
Max pointed out , i still do some toestalls with my left foot between moves.
At least i dont need them anymore to link illusions with other moves,
and in one or two months i shall be free from toestalls after all !

But the biggest thing about today was, that the bag charles had made was waiting for me in my kitchen :D
Its mini, its heavy, beautiful and perfect, like only a sexy hobbit could be .

HAPPINESS EXCITEMENT AND A WHOLE NEW WORLD !!!
THX CHARLES, u da man !!!

Yes! Props Daryl!

Well, I'll most definately be in the Gym, and maybe I'll even play again,
since I will stop playing as soon as I start the Physiotherapy.
Philipp from Landshut will be with me, as he will be in Munich for a week
or two and will be staying at my place. Maybe Mike is coming with him,
we'll see.

'Ssup gang ?
We simply have to meet uo before monday, i'm so freaking
excited about footbag, i cant handle it on my own :D !!!
The almost successfull double leg over was a weird moment of
truth...
And as for the meuchelmörder...fun story really. I was on my break
and tortured my collegues with a lengthy speech on adds, sets and
move components in freestyle. After demonstrating outside kick,
illusion, clipper and smear, i was confused on how to proceed, cuz i
havent hit any 4add moves yet .For some reason i attemted a dimwalk
and failed horribly, very much zur schadenfreude of my co workers !
Then liam turned to me and said in his well known sarcastic tone :
Well, that was pretty weak, wasnt it, i cant wait to see another 4 add,
go on then...
Maby because i felt like killing him that moment, i said with a school
teachers voice : Now, children you shall witness a pixie ducking mirage !
I went for it,like there was no tomorrow and miracously i managed to
pull it off, but after the final dex i was so shocked that i "raked" it away
and almost shot quincy, who was sitting on the sofa across the room :D

And as for the bag, it was made by charles aka leuch from paris.
Its so sweet to shred with and as cute as cute can be !
Actually i go to play with petite claire right now !!!
