omg yes i'm joking. It was AMAZING. The weather was awesome all three days. Cleaver took first in shred 30. Pete got first in routines. Cleaver and Caleb hit some sick shit which i hope no one posts because i have it on video. I didn't get any day 3 footage because we had to leave before freestyle even started. The only part i didn't lie about was the hotel police. There are some crazy stories to be told. Make sure u check out mahood's and cleavers blogs. They'll have in depth coverage.....hopefully.

excellent tournament, possibly one of the greatest weekends of my life. i learned so much about my net game and for the first time i truly felt accepted in the net community. i guess they now know im not just feckin around
. its totally a different scene than freestyle, but totally as cool.
i was also very happy to see so many new over all players. there were about 5 or so people ive never met before competing in net and freestyle. and PETER competing in ironman! (not net, but close enough for a world class freestyler) lonn tells me they both might cross over to the darksiiide! and by darkside i mean overall, not exclusively net.
id like to see a comeback of the over all title. and id also like to see some events comeback like speed consecutives. to me this is one of the coolest events ever. im in the process of finding out whats happening with chilly philly, but i can assure you if i have anything to do with it theres gonna be a speed consecutives competition (probably a fastest to 100, and also a traditional 5 minute timed) so skool up your speed consecs!!! i just broke the 500 mark today for 5 minutes, with several uper body fouls and non alternating fouls. im workin on it...i think i can break 1000 someday.
sooo yea it was also nice playing freestyle for like the first time in a couple weeks, and playing half decent. sealed fairy torque, hit spinning mirage>fairy drifter bsos, or somethin like that. some other sheit.
clavens is disgusting.
it was also fun chillin with the somerville crew, always a blast.
big congrats to steve and greg on the HOF induction, and BIIIIIIIG thanks to brenda and joe for throwing such a great tourny. PLEASE DONT MAKE THIS THE LAST ONE! its too good to not happen!!!

I wrote up whatever I could remember from Funtastik on my Footblog. To say the least, Jack Keller's dacquiris are to be revered/feared as always.
And I think I was there to witness your pixie ducking x-body rake there, Chris. Shame that I mistook it as paradox instead of pixie, but I have pretty poor memory. Blame it on the alcohol.
Funtastik was awesome, but the hotel police were pretty annoying. I wanted some more drumming music by Jack and Matt on Sunday. Hell, even some guitar would be great at least.

"Footbag can be pretty frustrating when it's supposed to be fun. I was partly driven by this forum - practice, practice, practice... As that is true, I think someone can be too focused on progressing and training that they miss the fun aspect of it." - Bander87

mmm so much fun.
Will D is realy good, so is caleb, krisco, cleaver, nate P and chris D.... Judging was very interesting. I learned alot...we may have gyped Greg nelson and/or jon schnider in routines
but thats the way scoring goes, or so I hear. And I would say the same thing if david and scott didn't place where they did. Big props to Chris from DC for showing up to his first tourney on 1 days notice and representing, start posting dude! Meeting B Kamakazi M was a real treat. And last but most memorable....
RIZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May do a complete weekwrite up in mer blog...but some crazy shit's going down now so who knows...good seeing all yall east coasters again!
edit: added some !

Man, looks like America got owned in the Net Department (which im sure most of you freestylers care about...), but wow, when is the US of A gonna throw up some real competition for the world? Vasek owns you, Manu owns you...
What have you had since Mulder and Schults? and Mulroney i guess

Yeah, Joe kept messing up Dave's name whenever he announced him. I think it was in the freestyle finals on Monday where he actually got his name right for once.Paul Agostinelli wrote:take a look at the bap members list
then forget it, and watch the funtastiks video and remember the name
DAVID CLAVENS
though you wont have to remember it, you'll be hearing it a lot soon.
