You'd better shred hard while you're gone so you can come back and tear it up.
Remember, you must wear shorter shorts, that is the key to success.

what? omg wow fun memories reading those first few posts, what a long way I've been through in my life and footbagwise, crazy stuff.

Today I'm officially a man, no my girlfriend did'nt give birth yet, but I got my DRIVERS LICENCE!!

This means, next time montrealers wanna drive to a tournament, count on me to help on the driving!

footbag wise, no shred today, will do some situps before sleep (this is my new resoluton).

Shred very day 30mins average (or more)
If not, then do some home exercice (currently situps, I got a ab-roller shit from wallmart, helps to keep back straight)

had a good sess today, was not drilling and just playing, felt good, then I got back to drilling
flip spin whirl is almost easy now, not missing it much.
finished sess on a flurry, one of my favorites moves, but I still suck at it :(

fun stuff tonight by kicking 5 mins
2 bags jugling - freeze one on toe, while doing clip-rev swirl on other bag- juggling again

also 2 bag juggling, freeze one on toe, freeze other on a switch, surprisingly hard!

ok so today was my official last session before becoming a daddy, since friday is the day!

nothing crazy, 1.5 hour play.

worked on links with flip pixie whirl for a while, some barage too, changed barage technique and it does wonder, kind of go for whirl, but mid dex I go for the 2nd mirage, seems to do well.

also worked on dbl pickups with this, links like spin osis-dbl pickup feel good

tried some drills, no luck, got 1 contact shy of pixie ss whirl-pdx illusion-pixie whirl-pdx mirage-rpt

hmm besides that juggling 2 bags at work during breaks is doing good too, I can go for 10 contacts easy now. flip is still an issue, 3 to 5 contacts is a decent number, usualy stop at 3. can go for 5-6 on 2 feet usualy, but more is really hard

next session: unknown when, but I'll have to hit something good for the girl :)

so since I got my baby girl footbag was on the side

yesterday first kicking sess, about 30 mins, just going on open sets, going for open everything

today first real freestyle sess, had to hit something good in honor of my baby girl, got a decent run, but camera was'nt charged at all (realised afterwards)

spinning mixer bsos  +tomahawk, mobius, and more

Finally figured out how to hit spin mixer easy :)

Also getting better at flip mobius, not constant but looking better and more precise

spins out of tomahawk both sides

getting close to flip spin whirl-gyro whirl, will hit this drill one day!

tanks Reid, I'm really having fun as a new daddy :D

Got a t-shirt from walmart saying "Call me Papa" and there's papa smurf on it :D

on a training note, added to my workout rope jump, had this before but never worked too much on it, today I decided to get back at it, if I can do 10 minutes every day or every next day, I think it will help a lot. Currently trying to jump more on flip leg to get more energy and power, also sodifying the ankle since it's a bit weak, shows a lot on clipper form compare to strong side.

for first day I went for about 15-20 minutes, was a lot of fun and not as easy as I remember!

small sess after 2 days doing rope jumping

legs are so sore from rope jumping, I don't recal being this sore out of footbag!

Was hard to play, a flip whirl was hard, blurry whirl felt impossible.

so I decided to just go easy and tried a challenge I asked Mathieu Giard (10smear-10plo-rpt) to realise it does'nt repeat

too sore, too tired, decided to go for a 5 contact version of the drill, hit it midstring.

we decided to challenge each other to 9 smear-open ss mirage-10 open switch-rpt

will try this next real sess

left today: sit ups and more rope jumping at some time during the day.

small kicking session,about 20 mins

did 143 consecutive alternate clippers, been a long time I tried to go for those, so I'm sure this is my new record, I stopped at 143 because I bailed to far osis for some reason..

on another note, I need to sell my oven since I'm moving in a new house next week and there's a Jenn-Air in it.

Listed it on 3 pages (craigslist, kijiji and another thing)

Well my first craigslist experience is a west african trying to scam my oven! wtf!?!?!?

about 1.5 hours session
worked on stuff I suck at
barrages, steps, flip rev swirl

ended up a great session and had some good runs with steps

found out a muscle I don't use much on my right abs, it was lazy, if I don't bend it but get it tight, steps work out well, hit my best blur's ever on flipside like this, hell I tought I was gonna hit flip fog, but then decided to work on basic :D

also got blur-toeblur both sides, had good attempts to hit the tripwalk after on both sides

also started a run like this: shut ss legover - atomic legover - open ss legover - quantum legover

forgot what I hit mostly, but I felt a good improvement on steps and barrages

spent a little 30 mins working on steps this afternoon

went for the drill: blizzard-parkwalk-blur-dimwalk rpt

I can hit strong side part easy, but flip did'nt seem possible

Tried to cheat my way by starting with the blur, still missing 1 or 2 contacts can't recall

a good drill to help my steps tough, gonna go for this one multiple times I think :)
