Hey BCS blog!
At long last I have finished my Aussie nationals movie
Quality: Medium (1500kbps) - 640 x 480 resolution.
Length: 35 minutes 16 seconds.
File size: 385mb
Download: HERE.
(Sorry it's so large, but at least you didn't have to upload it at 9kb/s... twice!
)
Sections(1 section = 1 song pretty much):
1. Intro
2. Players section 1
3. "Why do you play footbag"
4. Players section 2
5. Dylan Fry (Canada) section
6. Dan Ednie (Australia) section
7. Jeremy O'Wheel (Australia) section
8. Phil Morrison (New Zealand) section 1
9. Phil Morrison (New Zealand) section 2
10. Outro
11. Surprise section staring another famous NZ player and featuring the antics of Floyd Morgan
12. Credits
I spent 50-60 hours editing this movie so please spend half an hour to watch it and give me some criticism, both positive and negative!
You only part of the learning is done while editing a video, the rest is learned through audience feedback
I hope you enjoy it!
(Yes, I posted this in video section aswell)

Woo I kicked last night for like 40 mins before bed, though I probably should have gone to bed since it was 3am.
I warmed up by hitting fairy ss whirl bsos, never done it before for some reason.
I started being able to hit flip toe blenders pretty easily so I was going for flip fairy ss blender but I hit a different new 5add instead... flip pdx blender!!! Woohoo! Felt real good.
I also hit blender b2b finally.
I hit a nice spinning whirl and then tried to nail tomahawk again, got sick of footing it so I moved on to ducking butterflies.
Toby hit ducking osis > ducking butterfly rpt about a week ago but we had to leave before I could hit it too, so I hit that drill first
felt a bit wobbly but it was there.
Then I went for consec ducking butterflies, I footed 6 but didn't get over 4 again after that, so my new record is 5. I want to hit 10. It feels like I could if I brush up my ducks a bit.
To finish the shred I hit gyro mirage bsos (lol my gyro is so bad) and then hit vortex surprisingly quickly... I really have to hit it on flip

hey homies
props nickus bathgatius
I was supposed to go to gym at 5 this morning but had a bad nights sleep. so i will have to have a good kip tonight and go on tuesday.
I had a dream that these two hippies knocked on the door and were asking for money for the Maybelline New york "50th Logie Awards". Quite strange really.
I played footbag from 3:30 - 9:30 last night. I had the t.v on, so it wasn't intense as you are all thinking, but i didn't even force myself to do it, i had fun.
Next time youse see me play, i am going to be good
Work is going pretty well. Although i still piss off people around me with my attitude towards work. But i think i am gradually working harder.
Saving money is really rewarding. At the moment i have got $2800 saved. I have decided i am going to move out of home (mum and dads place) at the end of year, and buy a house. That would be sweet.
A sweet method of saving is to save $1000 then buy some shares. they dont need to be risky share but blue chip or whatever. The point is once you have bought those shares you can not spend that $1000 on silly stuff, like prostitutes and candy. For about 6 years before this year i had not been able to save money, so it is an effective way to do things.
i wanna play footbag now, i feel like i have just discovered footbag again.
but to work i go.
bye bye.
P.S Sweet bands to listen to: Ladytron, McClusky.

Session last night was pretty good, dispite sounding the end of my O'wheel bag.
I hit PS Whirl, Tapdown (both sides), almost blur.
Also had some cool consecs... 32 clippers, flipside. 25 clippers strongside.
Ummm. I think I also had a good opp clipper record, but can't remember it.
Jesse, regarding the shred on the weekend... it sounded like you didn't want to go to the city, and that was cool. But you didn't bother trying to organise or even suggest anything in return. Heck, if you'd just said 'come round to my place, we'll kick in the driveway', I'd have been there.
I was just disappointed that you didn't seem to make any effort to organise anything.
I don't mean to bitch, but that's just the way I felt.

Squash is going not too bad, i am pretty relaxed on the court at the moment which means i am in good form.
I have a tournament this weekend, but i am catching up with a couple of mates as well, excessive alcohol + squash = runny bum and vomiting on one self.
i was supposed to go to gym this morning, didn't get enough sleep will go tomorrow.
payed my car rego yesterday, as well as my footbag membership for ausfootbag. hooray for me
Played footbag for 2 hours last night
Worked on flip diving butter for the first hour.
Then shredded for the last hour.
I am slowly getting back to the level i was at
Best run was: Butter>osis>pdx mirage>flip dimwalk>ducking butter>pdx mirage>smear>magellan>butter>ducking clip>ducking clip>osis>osis>drop on diving clipper attempt.
Things about the session i was happy with.
My overall style. To my eye it looks pretty strong. I am very happy with this as i had the most goofiest style when i first started playing.
Bad things.
I have to learn to think more especially when i am getting tired.
Have to set my flip pdx mirage better. I never drop on this move but i have to fix it so i can flip pixie out of it alot more consistently.
peace

Glad to hear you got your Toby bag back.
I've gotta place an order soon, but I doubt it'll get here before the end of the month.
I am, however getting a new O'wheel bag soon. Very handy concidering my old one died last session.
Oh, and I think I forgot to mention, on monday, it was PS Whirl>Osis>mirage>..... drop. I was pretty happy that it started a run.

props on the ps whirl gareth
Played a catch up match for last week
A.Hagesy defeated R. Mylrea
9-1, 9-4, 9-4
I am feeling good on the squash court.
Supposed to go to gym this morning, instead i watched middlesbrough get smashed 4-0 by Sevilla in the uefa cup final.
played footbag for 90mins.
Worked on flip diving butter for first 45 mins, these are solid now
Shred last 45
best run was 13 guiltless. i think it had parkwalk>diving butter and smear>parkwalk in it.
Positives
My flip pixie out my pdx mirage was much better tonight. I was hitting parkwalk 50% of the time out of it, which is solid.
My osis got better towards the end of the session.
Negatives
My bops were so strong before my break, and now they are weak. I know it will come, but i want them back now.
I need to work harder today.
hugs and kisses
hagesy.
