Hi,

Have many of you ever played 4square for money? Would you? Do you want to play for money at worlds? If 10 people put in 5 bucks, thats a sweet pot, and should bring out fierce competition. Can't wait.

I'm in good company these days :D

Never played for cash before.

Personally, I like the idea of winner takes all. I would not be surprised if some shady calls were made since money is involved. Perhaps some judges on the sides? If I can make it to Worlds and this match goes on, I'll definately play.

I like winner takes all too! Yeah, judges would be involved if there was money involved.

I've played a few money games before. It's super fun, the competition get fierce, Tyra Banks style. You gotta play with gentlemen's rules on when money is involved though. I'll definitely put in on a few games if I make it out to worlds.

I didnt mean to stay that there HAS to be judges. I agree with just being fair. It's pretty obvious when calls are valid. Sometimes one person legitimately thinks something but when all other 3 disagree and you can tell its honest, there you have it. Gentlemens rules. CANT WAIT! TRAIN HARD BECAUSE I WILL!

I've played for money.
At CSS7 at the 4square competition you put in 5 bucks, and at the end winner got the pot. I believe only the final match had judges on the sides. The preliminaries were judged by the players alone with only like 6 players to a game and top 2 moved on.

Steve won, and gave the money to Stephen to help out with prizes and stuff.

so he gave the money to himself? jk

Man, if i did play, i'd be my own worse enemy cause i can never remember my score.

What if king square had a pen, so every time someone other than king got out you would mark your hand? Haha, retarded ass idea.

Man, this makes me really really want to go to worlds!

Time to start saving for nothing!

For the benefit of those that don't know, could someone please explain to us what are gentleman's rules? Are they anything like man laws?

Don't call bogus stuff just to stay in the game, don't vote based on how it will advantage you, if you know you spiked/hit line/out/low/contact then don't pretend it was good.

I would probably not want to play for money. I get frustrated enough in a lot of 4sq games already, adding money to that would just make me spit toxic venom & spoil everyone else's fun. But I probably won't be going to worlds, anyway.
