Short Video of Myself With A Cold

Post by EoghanMcDowell »

I couldn't go any longer without any shred. So i decided to film it to. Though it probably wasn't smart to play out in the cold shirtless with a pretty bad cold, i did it anyway. Though i didn't play at 100% and also my first symposium Rev-Whirl isn't on here either, oh well. Hope you enjoy, and give some advice on my butterflies, cause thats my biggest problem right now.

You asked for advice on your butterflies, but I think they look fine. Maybe attack the dex a bit more? You probably just need to practice them. Actually, you do need to practice them. :)

I like your osis form, but I think you should actually speed them up. I think it seperates your strings into parts, where like, you do some stuff, then you slowwwwww down with the osis. Make it just another part of your game, instead of a way to... I dunno. Just speed them up. :)

Other stuff... hmm... the coughing was freaking nasty. Don't do that. :P

Your crank is good. If you wear smaller socks, I think it will be even better (like, below ankle). Makes a difference for me, and I think it looks better.

Your bothsidedness is also pretty good. Keep it up.

Don't plant on far stuff (Including almost anything paradox). EVERRRRRR! It's ugly! Unless it's on purpose, and you're just screwing around.

Very nice though, how long have you been playing again? 4 months? Ridiculous.

Well, not exactly four months. I started seriously freestyling probably around 7-8 months ago, so overall been playing seriously to get better for almost a year. But yeah I'm starting to work my BOP's like crazy, and all my three's. I want to get them consistent enough to put into my strings. I've also been working illusions, though not as much as i would normally wish for. Again i was sick during that session, but whatever. I appreciate the feedback. I'll try speeding up the osis a bit more, i like the bit of downtime i get with it when i take it slow though. But yeah i know about never planting on far or Pdx tricks, i was just not feeling very well today. I hit my first symposium Rev-Whirl that session, but deleted it out of the video...Oh well. Again thanks for that feedback, guess I'll just keep working that butterfly.

There is some pretty good shred in there. I too would suggest that when you do an osis you keep the rhythm of your shred constant. You play very both sided which is a very good thing. You have a good rhythm. Your butterflies look good to me. Keep shredding and try and capture your entire body, back the camera up, in future videos - it will help people see your overall posture and style.

Peace.
