Not sure if modified had an update recently, but I've noticed that the colored text function isn't working anymore, and it's also affected old colored text posts too. The weird thing is that it looks fine when you look at it in the preview window, but not when you post it.

Works for me I assume (on my browser at least). Doesn't work to select colours, but if you write the colour you want [ color = blue ] (without spaces etc.) it works - at least as a work around.

I just tried to fix this, but came up kind of empty. The color picker is basically useless. It always breaks when you try to use a "hex code" like Ken's example. As Jeremy noted, you can use the CSS color keywords like this, but the picker isn't going to use those.

Searching for this issue yields a big fat nothing, and I'm still not stoked on the idea of actually digging in to fix this. So it might be a while. When we upgrade to phpBB 3.1 maybe it'll just go away?

HA! Posting that made me see what the issue is!! The link I posted has a # in it, which broke it because the hashtags mod I installed is breaking it! When I remove the code for hashtags, this will be fixed. I've not ever seen anyone ever use hashtags (granted I've never really publicized the fact that you could use them), so I'm assuming nobody is going to cry about losing that feature. But still, it is/was kind of cool ...

I commented out a line and colors are back to normal. You may now proceed to use the feature irresponsibly and make your posts look garish and ugly again
