Where do I buy footbags??

Post by thefrizz »

I've heard a lot about Mike Wilson's and such, where do you get these?? I know about Worldfootbag.com and a couple other sites, but I haven't seen any Mike Wilson footbags I don't think?

Are those two different bags? Richie and Abshire, I mean.

Because Richard Abshire is one person (as far as we earthlings can tell...) though its possible he's made two different kinds of bags.

where to get footbags

Post by tam13 »

You can get them anywhere. If you are planning to get one get the mr. Sandbag or and abshire. Mr. Sandbag if a good starting footbag.

Dude tam13 this topic is a year and a half old... almost all of your posts have been pulling up old topics and posting random comments. Oh well... as far as Wilson bags, that's anybody's guess... I recently e-mailed him as well and never got a response.

there are many diffrent types of bags. Richard Abshire makes his own bags, Carol makes bags, Jane Zerb makes bags. To get one you e-mail them about it. Now you can also go to sites and order from that. you can buy a Mr. Sandman bag from a site. and you can buy from worldfootbag.com too. If its your first bag go with the Mr.Sandman.

Hey I was just wondering I first started playing with a 32 panel dirtbag, and now it is completly beat up, no holes yet though :D . I also have a Mr. Sandbag that I use more now. I am still fairly new I can hit most 2 adds and easy 3s, so I am wondering should I bother buying a hand stitched bag yet or should I wait till I'm better. I've heard that Abshire minis would be frustrating for newbies... any suggestions on if I should get a new bag yet or what bag I should get...

I don't know of any european shop, that sells abshires. You have to order them from the us.
maybe you can contact bjoern seifert, who is from munich too, if you don't know him already. He also posts on this forum.

na dann passts ja eh! :)

It's hard to get abshire minis in europe, if you don't order them. If you have luck, there may be a sticher (eg felix, some swiss stichters, etc.) at a tournament, who sells bags. I bought a bag from sylvan at the footbag camp in croatia, but I lost it already. :(

If you can find a store that will carry them, then I can do it. Hope this helps, Richie

That would be so nice ! My teammate max plays with a mini
of yours, that he got as a gift from someone, and although
i'm only a beginner, i feel a huge difference between your
minis and my sandman.
How can we do this ? i live in germany, how much would a
mini of yours cost, including shipment ? And how long will
it take to arrive ? Maby you could send me an e-mail with
all these details, and i would also like to know about coulors
and stuff..! Thx a lot :)
Till then !
