Jeremy O'Wheel - short run

Post by Jeremy »

Hey I posted this somewhere else but thought I'd give it a thread here.

I shot a short run today. I only had about 30 seconds to film and started by dropping a ripwalk so this was the best I could get. I guess it's pretty average for me. I don't usually drop pixie switch though

anyway thought some people might enjoy it - just to see about where my game is at the moment. Nothin' fancy about this vid.

Oh and I mentioned this in the other thread too - but I beat my Aus champs shred 30 score with this run by 15 points but in only 15 seconds (not the 30 that I had at Aus champs).

edit: argh I forgot again!

You should dye your beard white and gain some weight.

Just a guess but is your favorite color green by any chance?

I really liked that video. I saved it on my computer. This was the first time I saw you shred besides the sick 3. I'm very impressed!
I think I going to take over Canada. You should help.

My favourite colour is RED but green is probably my second favourite colour.

The socks I'm wearing are green and yellow. They are kind of odd - as in they are not the same - but the pair came like that.

I've actually put on some weight recently Ken but I think I still have a long way to go ;) - and my beard sucks - I would win a ratty beard comp easily I think :D - it would take me decades to get a santa/mexican beard!

Melissa - thanks :D I wish I could have hit a really cool run but I think this one is still good.

I actually dislike Christmas. *runs away from Erik*

Very good shuffle Jeremy! If this is every other run for you then you must be amazing. Loved your sick 3 also (can I say that?) Hmm... I loved everyone elses too... see no bias.

anyway, really good stuff... why are there so few videos of you out? I want more Jeremy O'Wheel!

What is your record for consecutive shuffle contacts?

that clip reminded me of the first time I saw Tuan and I thought it was in fast-forward.

I agree, I want more Jeremy footage.

Why don't you make a longer video and blow all our minds?

I bet you could hit some ground breaking shit Jeremy.

Thanks!

It's hard to get footage of me out there because I don't have a camera and those that do are really busy. Also I've improved a lot since the last time I was filmed so I don't know if it will be that great - maybe it will - I remember playing well for my standard then.

My shuffle record is 27 I think (maybe 26) - sealed with osis>handcatch - but I wasn't worrying too much about repeats - so it was probably only about 15 unique.

These days probably not every second run is like that - because I've been really working hard to learn how to hit non shuffle runs and I'm still not that good at a lot of non shuffle moves - so it depends. If I was in a circle with some really good players who were constantly throwing it down - I'd probably only hit stuff I'm good at - otherwise I like to challange myself and hit (or at least try) runs with spins and drifters and twirls and stuff like that.

Haha -- good call on Tuan (in a good way -- Tuan rocks!) I noticed it looked almost sped-up too. Holy crap. I liked seeing the footage too. Thanks, Jeremy. I liked that one video you put out ages ago -- these are, like, the only videos I've seen of you too. Good stuff.

You really love Christmas, Ken? @_____@

PS: I really dig the socks. I have asked for red lavers for Christmas -- I hope I get them!!!! I also started a thread about this, but I'm pretty confident I want RED!

Actually I think it is a tiny bit sped up :? - it's shot on a digital photo camera and it has a fairly low frame rate - like 15 frames per second I think - plus I have to convert the file to an avi and then compress it - so it loses some quality. So it makes me look a little faster than I am I think - I don't know how significantly - I have thought I am too fast for a long time and have been trying to slow down a little.

I can't really film very much - maybe a run or two a day if I remember to charge be batteries (and can hit the runs on demand) but I'm sure there will be a shit load of footage from the Aus champs in Feb - also I might get my brothers girlfriend to film me a little when I visit next. - and of course there is the brisbane footage which is a little outdated...

nice run jeremy but i think my favorite thing about this thread was that the first 4 or 5 posts had nothing to do with the video but more of your style than anything.
