Anyone ever mod their mesh lavers?

Post by Jdigges »

I just did this mod a little while ago. there is actually two layers of mesh on the toes, insides and outsides of mesh lavers. and you can cut away the insed layer and you can feel the bag alot better. its like 1/4 the thickness and still really strong. i was surprised with how much more i could feel the bag. heres the site

Yeah. It's a really common and well known mod. I would be as bold to say 75% of players do it.

I love it though!

It's the best! I wouldn't know where I be with out it.
I think I going to take over Canada. You should help.

Arn't there the three types of lavers? Like Mesh, Canvas, and Leather or something... Well, I can never remember wheather mesh or canvas is the one that is usualy suggested, all I know is that I have the right ones :D , but maybe he was talking about the other ones... I have no clue what I just said... :?

I love the topic of this thread... haha: "Anyone ever mod their mesh lavers?" Sorry, but that's just priceless.

This is a very widespread mod, Jdigges. I managed to remove the inner layer from the instep of my lavers but the toes gave me too much difficulty and I didn't want to ruin the shoes completely so I had to leave it. Thanks for posting your find nonetheless.

Peace.

There is more than 3 types of lavers. Currently I can think of 5; mesh(most widely used), leather, canvas, twill, and quilted.

I saw some girl the other day walking around with a quilted pair of lavers in her hands, I wanted to push her into the wall and take her shoes, nothing personal, they just looked cool.

Yeah I saw some like that on ebay the other day. I dont think they would be good for shredding though, unless you cut all the quilted off. So just go mesh. But they would be cool as a back up, like to wear when not shredding. I like the canvas ones for that though.

you mean you never saw those threads on twill lavers :D

I hate the damned striped lavers, they have taken over ebay. I used to be able to search for Lavers effortlessly, but now atleast half of them are striped.

Edit : props for finding the mod page ! :)
