What do you use in your 32 and why?
Is it just down to personal preference or do triangles have an advantage or vice versa.

I think you mean Triangles or Hexagons.
And the answer is, use hexagons.

I don't know, all I know is all good stichers use hexs, normally with quite small sides where the hexs touch so they look like triangles in some bags (like suderbags).

No no no. No one does triangles (to my knowledge). They wouldn't fit together very well. The thing is that they're all hexes, because they need the 6 sides to connect to other panels. The thing you have to know about footbag panel "hexes" is that the sides of the hexes are not all equal, that is all.

This is the triangle pattern. It makes the pentagons too large and the bag blows itself apart very quickly.

They're pretty much all hexes, they just look different because of how much the stitcher triangulates his/her's hexagon patterns.

On that flipsider bag, the hexes look alot like triangles. The "corners of the triangle" are actually sides that are way shorter than the other 3 sides of the hex, so they appear to be verticies.

Hexes make the bag look more regal (for lack of a better word) and the triangles make it look kinda cheap to me. I have played with both and they play pretty much the same it just comes down to looks.
