props on the midrun flip ripstein :D

I made a return to circle kicking today, had my right ankle heavily strapped, felt good to kick again. Curiously my toe game is unaffected by the ankle strapping, though I am unable to do a right foot clipper. looks like about 3 weeks minimum before I get back to the right foot clippers, not that I really did them anyway, lol.

It looks like the american student currently in sydney (Kurt) will be heading to melb in the next week or so, I think he'll be there on the weekend around the 24th or so. Could one of the melb crew pm their email address and any other contact details so I can pass them on to him as well as any details of a regular kick he can come to, he's keen to get in kick with you guys while he's down there. He's not yet guiltless and is looking for tips and to get some good footage.

hello Melbourne blog

I will be in Victoria just before New Year's/going to the aussies. I will most likely just be in melbourne the day before NYE until flying out in the afternoon of the 1st. I will be keen for some shred action, or to drink some beers or whatever.

Well Kurt is going to Uluru for a week then heading straight to Melb, so I was kind of hoping for a more solid way for him to contact one of you guys. I'll email him about the Sunday (I'll tell him to look for the 7-11 and thatyou guys will likely be near-by) as well as any contact details I can pull off the old ausfootbag forum, and also email him links to this blog as well as the footbag.org forum, and if he doesn't find you guys then, really, it will be his own fault.

MFC shred session at fed square today, in attendance: Scott, Alex, Dan and Janis, some highlights:
Scott: big swirl improvement, some nice Atomsmashers and flipside eggs.
Dan: food processor>ps whirl > ps whirl > run, much cleaner ducks/dives, 20 contact tripless run, very long runs.
Alex: first triple dex, triadon (triple paradon) ripstein ending in walkover, lots of fearless links, many superflies and superfly>ss superfly>run.
me: I played for 5.5 hours today :D

looks like the sunday sessions are making a comeback now that school/exams are finished.

I don't know if Dan reads this, but Dan if you do I challenge you to hit spinning ducking ps whirl

Epic shred today with Caroline, Dan , Alex, Scott and myself at fed square. The day started off really hot, 40degrees (104farenheit). Got 2+ hours of fantastic footage. Dan was hitting some sick fearless links like ps whirl> superfly, whirr bsos also I suggested he try fairy rev swirl, which he hit after a few attempts. Alex was hitting shafts and ripsteins midrun, his ps egg looked good today I think he footed leviathian too. Caroline was doing some long runs with symp mirages and osis also she hit pickup x4 for the first time. Scott was busting out some great spins and he hit datw in > datw out > massive run, fairy legover x3 and pdx dlo midrun. I played barefoot and hit some clipper combos fairy swirl> barrage> genuine run was a good barefoot link and frantic ss pincher felt good, going to have to look over the footage again. These 5 hour shred days are the way to go :D

yeah, I'm injured again, so instead of just staying at home and thinking about it I've been fliming some melbourne sessions. Today Jamie was in Melbourne and Dan turned up for a shred. Some highlights, all caught on film
Jamie: flipside double dyno for the first time
spinning ducking pdx drifter
spinning grifter 8O <--ultra clean too :D
some really good blazing sets, gyro blazing butterfly comes to mind
ducking ps whirl

Dan: some really solid fearless links to start runs
some 7's: montage for the first time, stepping ducking ps whirl, something else I can't remember
smashed the Aussie gyro butterfly record first try with 6 or something
spinning blender
some toe combos, including toe ducking mirage 8O
