I love waking up and watching the newest edition to the calendar. Sad face though, Mr. Dale's video has been blocked for my viewing. Many thanks are owed to everyone parcipating and Aleksi for hosting.

Great stuff. I was happy to see this one was 10 minutes before watching. I'd been looking forward to Justin's Mathias video since all the others came out. Great shred -- I especially liked the predator x2 and the reactor > food processor BSOS. I liked Justin's one run with a toe whirling swirl -- cool trick. And I liked the music and fearless/triple dex combos to end it. I also liked Justin's janiwalkers -- I wish I could furious, but I'm curious how it affects your knees, since that's the reason I don't do it, and I know you've got a bad one.

I have a very bad left knee and that's my good side furious. I find that since it's an uptime dexing move it doesn't bother my knees. Since all the work is done in the air on the way up I have plenty of time to set my foot down softly and smoothly. Usually it's the impact with the ground that hurts my knees so I don't do barfly on my flip side, ever, but I can Jani all day long. If you watch Anz for his furious style, he does them pretty slow with minimal wear and tear on knees. PM me if you want any tips :)

ps. The string with the toe whirling swirl starts out with a very clean Genesis. That's why I'm so happy with that string.

Yeah, definitely awesome. Mariusz was rippin. The music went really well to his game, I felt. Like, that last song. Just really inspiring. The tricks and the abs :p I remember first seeing footage of him as a little guy hitting osii and training with Wiktor. I hope the other small ones from the Christmas Calendar live up to this legacy. It's so inspiring to watch over time. Also great to see Rene, obviously.

I've been really impressed with the last few videos Flash has posted - and his addition to the calendar sets the bar even higher. The control and flow of the runs is already awesome enough, but the ease that he works in some of the unique surface and kicks is the cleanest I've ever seen that done.

Dare I say that his level of artistry is unmatched? Or to put it another way, that looked GOOOOOD.

Yeah, it seems like his repertoire and ability to combo his weird, unique tricks is getting even more fluent... I just couldn't even follow. Someone on YouTube commented "this is freetyle." I think that really sums it up. I feel like such a sheep in comparison. Really fun and still some tough conventional stuff in there too.

http://modified.in/joulukalenteri/2012/

I felt an itch this morning and spent a couple of hours scratching it. I'm sort of happy with how it turned out, but I don't really like the "popovers." I might redesign them (perhaps to just link directly to the video), but probably not.

I'll do my best to keep it up to date until it's done.

You can also use this URL (will redirect): http://modified.in/calendar if you can't remember how to spell "joulukalenteri"
