how long did it take y ou to hit dex moves

Post by uzzzi_t » 14 Feb 2008 13:39

hey guys just wondering how long it was before you starting hitting dex moves?

I've been back into freestyle for about 2 weeks now and have pretty much got toe, inside etc stalls down.

was trying ATW and mirage today but didn't hit either of them. would be interested to know how long it took other people to get these tricks down.

Hard to say. Felt like forever.

The first step is a doozy, but I think it gets easier.

Try and find a local player near by to play with. I can teach most people to hit around the world in under 15 minutes.

Are you playing with footbag shoes (lavers or quantums)?
I'm asking because I think the answer greatly depends on that.

Uh.. Took me one weekend of non-stop playing to hit my legovers. Keep in mind that this was without proper equipment.

But I feel that it completely depends on the person and their desire to hit the trick. You want it? You got it. Just work at it.

if you really drive yourself hard then I'd say at the least(meaning shortest) a week.

It took me about a day to hit my first around the world. But to get them down really well it took me about a week.
Miss playing footbag, hope to start kicking again soon

about a week I would say...

But this is what you should do.

Learn ATW both ways on both sides before doing anyting... It will really help you out in the end.

Then make sure you master Legovers and Mirage both sides.

Then Pickup.

Then start working on clipper.

Once you can do that stuff, let your creativity unravel :D

you will get them. Just make sure you practice them both ways...

It took me 4 months to finaly relize that I never practiced ATW in-out.

although I learned it fast, I really shouldnt of waited that long to start that trick
