some people seem to plan to go for the triple (efc-bembel-wfc) or double at least. most of them are not registered yet, as far as i see.

I emailed Krzysztof at skuty@footbag.org, and it bounced. For now, I resent the email to wsf@zoska.pl...is there a better address to send it to? This is to reserve a room in the student housing. Any help much appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT: wsf@zoska.pl also bounced. It sounds like the mailbox is full.

Thanks Wiktor. I know you guys are probably super busy with a ton of other things, so thanks for taking the time to fix that.

Excited to see Poland and compete in just under two months!

We are working on it. Depends on the cost, but it seems really expensive in Poland. Is therere any free strem service that you know?
Thanks

I had a similar reaction when I saw that as top post.

Actual Worlds question: in past years, competitors have sent their routine music mp3s to the staff ahead of time. Are you guys doing that again this year? If so, how should we name our files, and to whom should we send them?

Ken, we're going to collect music from the players before tournament. You'll get information about that soon.

USTREAM might be also a good option. You can use it as easily as with any smartphone with a camera and the ustream app (and decent bandwidth). www.ustream.tv

I didn't see it on the schedule; does anybody know when open routine semifinals happen?

Ken,

I got this e-mail yesterday -- (Not sure why I got it by you didn't, and its not the first one like it that I'd received recently...) :

Hi freestylers!

I would like to remind all of you that since you are competing in a routine event at this year's IFPA World Footbag Championships you are required to send you routine music in advance to the tournament organizers. To do it, simply send an e-mail to footbagworlds2012@gmail.com - Please title the e-mail as follows:

[ First and Last name of competitor ] [ event name ] [ round ]

For example:
John Whirlwindowski Open Freestyle Qualifications
or
Mary Aroundtheworld Women Freestyle Finals

If you have only one song, you can skip the last part (round).

Make sure to do it as soon as possible, so that we can prepare accordingly and have a safety option in case something goes wrong with your music. Please note that you should also carry another copy of your music with you for the tournament check-in where we will be able to confirm everything is working properly. Just copy you music file to a pendrive, a flash memory or a CD.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Thanks for posting that Jon. I eventually found that email in my spam filter in gmail, which is weird.

Question about Poland: do the credit cards in your country use the magnetic strip, or are they the ones with the chip in them?

Most Credit Cards use magnetic strips. Chip is a new service, but may work.
