NOVEMBER ONLINE COMPETITIONS - Voting closed.
im not voting yet. But nic, you messed up both of my sick 15 and sick 1 videos. My sick 1 was supposed to be the SECOND atomic torque, the one that wasnt pulled. And the sick 15 started with PLO>PLO>dimwalk. YOu cut out the first three tricks.

I'll comment and vote today, but for now I just have to say I am surprised by how high people are placing Byrin and Anssi's entries. The capture rate wasn't very good on Byrin's, which made it almost impossible to see the dexes, but even so, it looked very thin if not the. Anssi's camera angle made it less obvious, but I don't think he got a dex on the torque. The leg passes over the bag, but if you drew a horizontal line through the bag parallel to the floor, I don't think his foot intersected it.
I don't know if its that people can't see "the," or don't care about it, but I personally am going to rank moves like Peter's matador (not very hard, but cleanly executed) over moves which aren't clean. Live Sick 1 and Sick 3 contests sometimes get misjudged because its hard to see "the" in realtime, but on the internet, people should be much more exacting with what they submit, and with how they judge.

I looked at both of those tricks you mentioned a few times before ranking them. I was unsure about the dexs so I choose to give them both the benefit of the doubt.

Open Sick Three released!
That's all of em folks, happy voting!
Henry: If you are unhappy about what made it into the video then you need to be sure to send me exactly what you want in there next time, you should have cut the contacts off your sick15 that you didn't want, you never told me whick 15 contacts to use and even if you did, it's likly I would forget, I may be a machine, but I can't remember different things from 60 people.
I realise you told me which atomic torque to take from that video, but I couldent take the one you wanted because it was slowed down and I was not able to restore it to normal speed.
In my opinion Byrin's Barroque was missing about half the 2nd dex now that I look closely at it. It is obviously a very hard move to completly clean and I think that should be taken into account, it was still very difficult to get it as clean as he did, even if it wasn't perfect.
I think both dexs in Anssi's Moby Dick were totally there.
Thanks for bringing this up Ken, we owe it to the players to give as much positive and negative criticism as posible since they put all the work in to entering.
Also, if anyone else has a problem or question (for instance if you think an entry is in the wrong catagory, or there was something I could have done to improve the videos or another part of the competition system), this is the place to post it so I can give you a good answer.
I can't get everything right so I rely on you guys to let me know when I slip up, these competitions are still very much developing.

Hey Nic, that was awesome but I haven't gotten a chance to vote. The voting pages weren't even up til today, and I don't have WMP at work. I wanted to wait til I had a chance to view all the vids before voting. Now of course the server's overloaded. I guess I must've missed some voting deadline. Wow, just like in real life! haha jk.
If I am not able to use the pages, I will vote in text just so players can at least see who my choices were.
edit: Of course this is super awesome, and the vids look so cool and sweet this time, not taking anything away from that. I just got done viewing Sick3, they rocked, and that Roni Size track was ill. Thank you again for everything Nic, you outdid yourself for sure. But keep the polls open one more day!!!@!
edit2: These intros are killer man. I can't believe I get the priveledge of watching this stuff. Let's all go to Sundance Film Festival and kick major ass!!!

seriously nic, dont let any people get you down...hen, the time and effort it would take to pull all of this together (granted, with some help) is well worth noting. and nic doesnt get anything for this except possible sleep deprivation. thanks again nic! you rock!
but seriously, i agree that cleanliness should be taken into consideration, and believe me, if it was any easier to miss either dex on matador, i would have done it
now to watch sick 3's...

Whoops I thought everyone new this, but for those that don't i'll say it nice and big.
The voting will be open untill atleast the 20th of December.
It doesn't matter how long the voting goes for really, but generally after the 20th most people have had time to vote so I close it.
As far as voting is concerned, when I have recieved a decent number of votes for each event I will shove the figures in my database and pull out some rankings. So if you want to see who's winning get voting!.
