fuck it, it went something like....
...if they started getting into it, they'd have high flyers, better rhythm, they'd wear the gunits with the spinners, invent the "bling dex", it'd be in hip hop videos.......they'd be awesome, they'd make it popular.

I edited the first post, for people who get offended easily
Plain, with everything.
I found your second post much more offensive than the first.
But yeah, you should do a search. I think I started a similar thread a while back, and it yielded some interesting responses. There have been around 60 people inducted into BAP, and only 4 aren't white (Tuan, Tu, Sunil, and Yacine). There used to be a player in the mid-90s called Leonard Griswold or something like that, and he was apparently on the cusp of BAP around 96 or 97.
Thanks to the emergence of the Japanese scene, there are a lot more non-white shredders now than there were 3 years ago, but there still aren't any prominent black shredders currently on the scene.
yaa... holy cow. I can't believe you've written this stuff, Oroza.sb wrote:wow.. I feel like rinsing my eyes in rubbing alcohol right now.
You're simply repeating steriotypes that are assosiated with Ghetto slums. I find this thread very racist. You should just stop here. Well, no... an apology and then stop.

have you guys ever seen chappelle? I like how he put it:
"I'm not a racist, and I'm not advocating any type of racial hatred or discriminations....I'm just making fun of eachothers cultures, its fun sometimes, thats it"
your the ones making it about race....just get over it, its a stereotype associated with black people...so?, people make fun of other stereotypes, some also asociated with race. this one just happens to be a sensitive one, but still.....frank zappa was very controvertial for haveing "sexual" themes in his music....look at how the world is now....we've stopped being appauled by sex jokes (to some extent) and everyone is free of the stressful moral shacles. this will also happen with race issues, in time.....
rawsko, I didnt say anything bad about black people, why should I apologize?

Roscoe-- calm down. There are two things that should be kept in mind: internet forum. Honestly, most of the things he said were positive (better rhythm, higher jumping, hip-hop association), and none of it was strictly offensive. It's about as bad as saying that a white guy is probably gonna grow up and work in a cubicle.
And to stay on topic, I don't know why there isn't an interest in footbag among the black community. I doubt there's some racial reason for avoiding it. I see footbag as somewhat similar to breakdancing, which seems very popular among blacks.

thank you for editing your comments out, Oroza. Only problem is now that people won't know what I was pissed off about.
I'm not black so I can't speek for anyone but myself. This steriotype is, as you said, a sensitive one. I know that if it were conserning me, having some white guy (who I think is just trying to be funny) prepetuating this steriotype would offend me. As I said, that's just me...
Another thing about myself is that, well... wouldn't want to risk offending somebody. If you guys think it's fine, then do your thing. I personaly, don't like this thread. I'll leave it at that.
keep it real

I think the problem is that we clearly do live in a racist world. When we no longer do then it will be ok to make jokes about people's races. It's still not cool to be sexist. Just as sexism became less prominate talking about the differences between races will become more acceptable as racism becomes less prominate.Oroza wrote:have you guys ever seen chappelle?
