yay i got a footblog! (I'm robert12234 from f.org)
well had a fun two hour shred yesterday, 45 minutes before dinner and 1 hr and 15 minutes after. I was able to school ATW, Legover and flying/spinning moves , all bsos and mirage once! this week i want to get mirage, illusion,(maybe pdx illusion?) butterfly, pickup and to succesfully get my clipper down so i can do osi! :P (is that the plural?) also i'll hopefully get dragonfly today in 15-20 minutes of drilling (so close!)

woohoo for spring break shred time![/url]

Whoo! Nice to see you're in modified Robert, and with a footblog too! I'll look into your progress whenever I can (and if I ever go to Manlius personally). Hit me up on Footbag Chat whenever so we can chat!

yay i have two footbag watchdogs :P

4-13-06

well today was ok..i only shred for 45 minutes to give my body a rest :( but i did pretty much get mirage totally down which will allow me to skool clipper and butterfly!! i wish i was more active on break besides mainly shredding, but i guess i need down time so its all cool. it was a nice day though and i went on the trampoline with my neighbors ( who are half as old as me, but hey everyone else is on vacation  ) which was pretty fun.

P.S, if you think my shred time is diminishing exponentially, dont worry!...

4-14-06 well todays weather was pretty horrible i must say..i got up then lazed around for a loong time then was pissed off because Manchester United tied with sunderland in english football  o.k. no one thats not english would understand that, but nvm. then i wanted to be bored no longer, and asked mom if we could go out to eat after i shred, she said that was fine, which made me happy again! so i went upstairs and started on a 1 hr and 20 minute shredand man it rocked after i while, i was getting my butterflies resoanbly good, and was able to hit them on my right side , then i worked my left, and i just couldnt get it... getting frustrated i worked harder, and got it as consistent as my right side (which isn't that consistent but still it rocked) and i let out a jubilant "whooo!" but then, there was one trick i wanted to hit ever scince i started footbag just cos i thought it looked cool, paradox illusion, and felt i had my "a" game, so i went at it (only on one side though, oh well) retied my lavers up tight and worked and worked until...i hit it!! twice! then i was ecstatic with a "YEAAAA" and another "whooooo" to which my mom downsatirs laughed. i was so happy it was a sweet shred! then we went out to eat, and it was just a great happy night.

Also, when i saw waylon mention the footbag chat, i thought maybe there could be different chat times for like newbs advanced or in general. i dont think it exists, i thoght it was a pretty good idea, but you could just use the forums, but still just an idea!

Today was just a standard day of drilling butterflies nothing as exciting as yesterday but still useful and fun, i figured out how to open up my dexing window bigger, and i should have it down on both sides soon. after that i really want to start working on pickups and reverse mirages and pixies and faries (which are troubling me :( ) ah well school starts on monday no more break  but i'll still be able to shred 1 hr and 30 mins so yay! Also i'm considering going to GRASS which would be a fun learning experience im sure.

are you coming to GRASS next weekend?

for more info, there's an event listing in Journies to Tournies on this web page, and under Events on www.footbag.org

I hope you can make it, Manlius isn't too far from Rochester. You might even be able to carpool if you post in the event thread, I bet there will be some people coming down I90.

Go to GRASS! I'm totally stoked in going. You'll meet the best and most friendly footbaggers in events, buy a choice bag firsthand, and have a super great time! 8)

just had a resonable shred, pretty much got mirage down, now workin on legoversand pickups! now attempting osis and pdx mrg. also a hania bag is in my sights  but as i was shredding i was thinking when the footbag craze hits..what pickup lines will be used...

1.) hey baby, im kinda tired cuz i was just mentally shredding, your clothes off!

2.) You know i just hit a sweet leg-over, mind if i leg-over you? (oooh-right (quagmire only))

3.)You know we could create our own [BOD] concept right here..

4.)You know i've got a pretty big add concept..in my pants!

you know those would work..lol i'm sure some more will come to me

lol. Don't go over yourself with those lines now!

GRASS was very sweet and chill. The best event I've been to to date in terms of social atmosphere. I myself wasn't up for shred, but at least I did some stitching.

Hey, when it comes to it come to Jersey Spike & Shred in Somerville, NJ. I hear that event is going to be real competitor to GRASS in terms of hype. Most of the East Coast shredders are definitely dropping by, and you'll see some of best freestylers there!

HORRIBLE SHRED TODAY! i got up early so i was cranky, then did some drum stuff and couldnt hit any trick today!! i didnt do anything yesterday either but that was cause i ciouldnt, today was just annoying, i never really got into it at all! :( at least a hania bag shoud be coming soon :) ah well, i've been doing alot of stretching, and my crank is getting more flexible so its been easier for butterflies lately so thats good. i got a stupid essay to write but no way i could do it today, im just so cranky! yay procrastination!!

better shred today, its good to listen to music, and i was a little dehydrated at first but after a while i felt fine and just drilled all the regular stuff i had been before hand, just ordered a hania bag!! :) its gonna be smaaal 3.5-.6 cm and pretty heavy 45-47 g  and i totally cannot wait for it! but i will have to wait till next monday or something but thats cool. I think everyone loves the prospect of opening up the mail box, finding that orange-y manilla folder with bubble wrap and a bump (or two!) in it and finding your new ltittle baby inside! hah the best part is waiting for the mail day after day, when it comes theres no more suspense haha. well my crank is better and better, and butterflies and osis are coming together so maybe by next week it'll be down! yes i loove spring!! my new hania will be spring colored ;)
