Ok, here are the results! Thanks everyone for voting, now if only that many people would have entered!

In 3rd place, with 29 points, is Pete! Sorry Pete, but you don't get anything. :( Cool artwork though!

In 2nd place, with 25 points, is Holly! You'll receive a 12 panel from me, fairly soon after you PM me your address! Thanks for participating!

In 1st place, with 12 points, is ZEKE! Great job Zeke! I didn't expect anybody to put so much time and effort into it. Definitely, this is be a deserved 32 panel. Just PM me your address and I'll send it off!

Thanks to all the competitors! I really appreciate you taking your time to enter my contest. :)

I'm going to hold another (drawing) contest fairly soon.

It will be different, but pretty much the same concept.

I'm glad no one got mad at me like they did at Ben.

well i had about 20 entries, you had about under 5.

it was hard to deal with.

i think you contest revealed more quality though, rather than quantity.

props.

Thanks Ben. :)

Does anybody think that the deadline was too short? I'm looking for some feedback, anything that I should change for my next contest (probably the last one).

start a poll and let people vote that way. there was barely any voting and some didn't even use your guidelines for the vote.

I didn't use a poll on purpose.

i liked this contest because the rules were clearly stated from the get go... and you didnt change your mind throughout. quality is better than quantity... and saying "in the end, i will judge who wins" is better than saying the vote decides then changing your mind. that was the problem i had with bens... hence why i didnt complain during this contest.

if you want more entries... then i would make the contest last an entire month. im sure it would be slow getting entries... but the last week would be booming.

the next contest, i plan on waiting until the last day to enter... that way no one tries to "one up" my entry like this time.

i dont think a poll would be a good idea. here are my reasons:
a. you cant judge 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with a poll
b. some people have multiple accounts (even though youre not supposed to)
c. you cant give your reasons on a poll... youd have to make a post anyway.

maybe some more time could be set aside for voting...

...and maybe ALL votes should be PM'ed instead of posted. for me, i just got pissed off when i saw how some people chose their votes... but i guess if i cant take the heat then i could get out of the kitchen.

thanks for this contest, zac!

ps. pete said "someone" didnt use your voting guidelines. that was me... but i didnt notice you could only vote from those 3 until this morning. thats my bad. but if you think about it... if i chose pete for 3rd then he would have been 3 points further behind than how he ended up (me doing that wasnt me trying to be nice).

Actually Holly, in your voting I just put Pete as 3rd since you put the other two people as 1 and 2, it was obvious who 3rd was. You weren't the only one who did it (Kyle Hewitt's votes, which I didn't even count). The reasons for not having a poll are exactly as you stated. If I had everyone PM me the rankings then no one would vote, it's too much work. Sorry, but I don't think that would work. :\

An entire month for a contest? Does anybody else agree with this? I have no problem with it, but I'd have to start it like, right now.

If lots of other people want a month-long contest I'll start it tomorrow. I already know what it's going to be about.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it (or are at least pretending you did. :P)

Yeah, a month long contest would be fantastic. I didn't have much time to work on mine. Thus.. it seriously lacked in quality. I think if you make the contest a month long, then at the end have a week long voting period at the end, the contest will be much more productive and fun.

And maybe on the front page or something keep tabs of who's in the lead and such, sort of a tally system. Mayhap? :D

WAYYY too much work, but all the rest I can do.

I'll set up the new contest in about an hour.
