Dang, so I'm back from camping with some friends. No, we didn't pick up chicks or get drunk. Came back and played footbag some, it went pretty darn good, until I decided to save it and go play at the ymca with my brother. That kinda sucked, oh well.

My flipside pickup seems wicked easy now, I don't think it my flipside anymore. Those inside atws really helped it.

My knee is messed, I think the alignment is off. Right now I'm not insured, so as soon as I am, its a doctors visit. In the meantime, I'm going to do my own therapy stuff. Dunno whats going to happen to footbag :( I wish God gave me a better lower body, but I guess the upperbody makes up for that. I can do pushups like no tomorrow, lol

Oh yeah, I can hit atw with two bags now and then since my sandmans are broken in. Its pretty fun. 3 adds!

Today my leg/knee was really bad. It sucked to move even laying down. After 10 minutes, the pain was suddenly gone! I think what happened was that something almost came out of my knee socket and popped back in. I had the same problem about 1 year ago but not as bad. I went with my mom to this health food and vietamin place and we bought some stuff to repair cartalidge and lubricate joints and stuff.

Nothing much more to say.

When I was nursing a sprained ankle, I took fish oil pills, which are rich in Omega-1 and Omega-3 fatty acids. From what I have read, those are extremely important in repairing/recovering ligament or tendon injuries.

And props on the 3 consecutive legovers! Keep trying that and I bet within a month you'll be able to do 6 or more easy as pie. 8)

Thanks for the replies people!

TODAY WAS POSSIBLY THE BEST SESSION EVER!

I started with a bunch of alt toes for warm up. Then I decided to drill everything. ATWS in and out, then legovers, then pickups. Need to work on my pickups a bit. Then I went to clippers where things really picked up!

I hit:

cliper>cliper>cliper>cliper BS
clip> op clip>
flipside far legover (now BS)

I tried some DATWs, just need to get the ankle pointing down and out thing going and some few other things, but I'm getting closer, I'm not working on it that much yet.

My friend Joe came driving by and we stopped and talked. I can't play when I'm too excited and people are watching me.

And my legs are feeeeeling greeeeaaattt!

This deserves a smiley face or two

:D :D :D

Another update (of course)

My shred today went fine. After being inspired by one of Mosher's post (I think it was Mosher), I decided to drill a lot. Did 25 atws on both sides in and out and some clippers. I should have done more clippers though. I think my flipside in atws are 'the' and I feel like crying. I'm going horizontal around the bag, not verticle. I got to break that habbit.

And new records:

53 alternating toe stalls (at least 51 anyways, one was partially a kick)

I basically do toe stalls for warmups, and they do get me winded, lol.

Had a session today, technically two. Played at 2.45ish AM trying to get a sick 3 on camera, didn't get anything.

Went to bed and woke up and played for 90 minutes. I stopped because I felt like I was gonna through up, maybe I was getting dehydrated... or I am just too hardcore.

Here's the breakdown:
-Fixed a lot of my 'thes' I think
-hit BS ATW (both out) and BS legover all in the same string!
-Illusions are getting better, hit flipside (just never did them before)
-Clippers are progressing and BS at that! I'm really glad I'm schooling both sides early.
-4 legovers in a row, which is a new record.

And I am working on my ins if you were wondering.

So I played for the first time since the 31st, so almost a week. I felt pretty weak, because I overslept, havn't played in a long time, and didn't eat breakfast, and just recovered from being sick. I'm getting really close to butterflies. I think I migh have hit a few, but it was pretty shakey. School starts tomorrow, gonna try my morning shreds.

ANOTHER GOOD SESSION!

Played for a hardcore hour and 45 minutes. Clippers are still getting better. Its all in the knees now. Some runners from Trinity high school passed and say me and one said something about hacky sack, but he kept on staring and all I did was toe stalls and atw. I'm thinking it was a positive thing.

Anyways, on to the session! Here's stuff I hit:
-Good butterflies BS and more than once at that! Its all in the KNEES!
-7 alternating inside stalls (got up to seven twice)
-I think I hit five, two add moves in my string today with a bunch of toe stalls which was a pretty long run for me.

MORNING SHREDS:
Here's my deal with morning shreds. I'm trying to shred every morning for about 15-20 minutes of light stuff. I think this will just keep my rythem upbeat and more time for me to do drills. It gives me something to wake up to, so I'm not dreading getting out of bed. Its been day 2 so far, I just have to be carefull I don't pull anything.

KICKERS AT SCHOOL:
Kickers at school kinda suck, they seem to have little interest in freestyle, well some anyways. All they do is play dirt. Dunno if a footbag club is going to happen.

I feel like I'm getting better, because I really am! All my sessions are going really good!

Today at school I did some legovers, atws, and hit butterfly on my first try all in my vans (skate shoes), I felt pretty good, lol.

And....

I AM NOW OFFICIALLY A BUTTERFLY BSOS BEAST! Twice at that.

I also hit six legovers with a bunch of toes inbetween, 3 sides each.

I need to start actually trying to link moves rather than doing toe stalls after everything I hit.

And man, footbag is tiring.

Dang, the good session keep coming. Playing for over an hour a day really does make you improve.

I drilled a lot of my legovers, like op toe>legover>rpt. I did like 10 of those in 1 string on my strong side.

I got two drive by props!

Can't wait to wear my lavers to school when I get better.
