I think we should try and run circle this year. If a lot of people are interested I will email Brenda and Joe to see if its ok. I think that it would be best if we do the prelims at the hotel on Sat night and do finals on Sun or Mon at the event site. I would also need some help to run it if people want to do and Joe and Brenda give us the ok. Any volunteers?

My attendance is confirmed.

Drew, i'll help out with circle if you want. If there ends up being both intermediate and open, I'd like to compete, but otherwise i'll do whatever I can.

I want to confirm, but I have made no plans. I'm super-psyched on footbag right now, though... I'll do everything I can to confirm soon.

So I was on the .org site and it used to have a sheraton as the host hotel. Now it only says "to be announced."

I was wondering if anyone has any information about this. I know this is still a month away, it's just that my parents want to make it a family weekend kind of deal. They'd like to book as early as possible to ensure everything.

Any info would be a great help

edit: okay all is good

I'm DEFINITELY going. This will be my 7th or 8th Funtastik, but it will be my first married funtastik. Campgrounds all the way. Come party with Jon Shneider and me and my crew at the campgrounds. (didn't really ask Jon if he'd be there, just runnin' on tradition. TRADITION.) less than 20 bucks a night, splittable by 4, that's five bucks a night.

I like freestyle. oh boy. Funtastiks again. why, I remember the good ol days of playing net too. ho hum. No worries, my destiny lies in soccer freestyle anyhow, but I shall never forget the little people..

camping is definitely appealing to me this year, i haven't camped in ages and it's so much cheaper than a hotel.

Will anyone be passing through South Jersey to get there?

If so, let me know if you can help a brotha out with a ride :D

Half of me wants to sit this year out because of the hassel it is for me to get there, but the other half of me wants to have a funtastik time!

PM me if you can help

Over the weekend I was swayed to consider camping out for this year's Funtastiks. It will be my first time camping at a footbag jam, and I guess pretty much ever! :P

I can't remember when the last time I've camped in the great outdoors. Let's hope there's no rain date for this weekend.

confirmed

brian will be there all weekend but I'm not sure how much he'll be at the event and how much he'll be doing family vacation stuff. But he's definitely going to play some footbag

and since he's going to be there with his brand new camper (at the campground), I'll be showing up saturday sometime, hopefully some hotel shred, then back to the campground for hanging out.. i'll crash in brian's camper.

out on sunday at some point, hope to see some of you there

I will be there for the whole event camping at Harrisburg East with Rieferman. I am stoked. This is my third time there, but I am a virgin to hanging out with more than a couple of footbag peeps at one time. I am trying to get my son to come (Charlie Johnson). This can't come soon enough. See you all there!

I'm also staying at the H. East! with jay and two friends as roommates!

I hope other footbag musicians will bring their instruments and we can lay down the sweet jams!

I will have some bags for sale.

I was thinking of camping, but I only have a sleeping bag and nothing else. Not even a tent. :( Bummer.

So, I'd be down to sleeping on the floor in a hotel room. Anyone have room for one more person? :P
