Wow! Just insane!
Big thanks to everyone organizing and coming to footjam! It was so great.
It was also really nice to meet and talk to some forum members. Now I can see some faces behind their posts :)
See you next year!!!

in my opinion the sport footbag has improved a lot due to this tournament.

i am quite sure that the (non footbag player) spectators would believe that there are no real pros in footbag. After this impression they would rather wonder why they haven't seen this athletes in tv commercials.

maybe there is not that much money in this sport than in others but enthusiasm can compensate much.

props Jan & Co for making me feel that I am in the wrong place at footjam ( what the hell I expected a footbag tourney not something like this).

This was the first Sportevent were I had this jimjams all over my body when the lights gone off in the Aktionshalle and the film/ show started.

Best touney ever- let us see what will come next - I hope you can push the frontier one more time !

Thanks for this weekend- Zürich!

Hello all ;)
Big Props to the Sole Rebels, Jan Zimmermann and the rest of the Organisation Crew.
Footjam '05 was my first tourney that i attended outside of Frankfurt and now i can't await next year's trip to zürich - even if it took me and my mates 5 1/2 hours from here
I got to meet so many people (wave to tobias, dani, jana, the french connexion, the munich clan (awesome foursquare duels), sorry to berlin for my gruesome freestyle attempts, yo vikt0r), and hopefully i'll get to achieve somehow, somekind of tourney-worthy-rank :D
Again, Big up!
See you Guys inna Berlin in June

BIG props to Jan and to everybody else who helped put up this fantastic event, Footjam 05 was easily the best tournament I've attended. The site was great, the organization was so professional, and the footbaggers were so fun to hang out with.
And by the way Ian, I didn't reach the finals. My semifinal had toooo many drops :? . That's what I remember of the results:
Vaska, Reni, Felix, Stefan, Karim, Dexter, Samy, Franck ; and
Tina, Verena, Isa, Lise ...

Thanks to everybody who was there and see you soon!

Does anybody know the name of the tall, blond shredder that wore a
Simpsons-Matrix T-Shirt? He was shredding with Arthur, Serge and Stefan
in the Aktionshalle on Saturday, before the show..

But I'm not sure so wait for anybody to confirm!!

thank all you guys and girls for all the nice comments about footjam on modified! it really means a lot to me and all others who organized to hear that you all liked it so much. it's what makes all the work worthwhile.

I would like to mention however that there is one huge factor all of you are forgetting in your praise: planetfootbag!!!!!!

all the people working alongside me on this project deserve maximum respect (marco, ole, sam, tintin, dubuis, reni, karim, dexter, tms, ali, grischa, vojta, piotr). anything i do in the footbag business is only possible because i have planetfootbag backing me up. paying all my (footbag organizing) expenses and giving me a small budget to start off things like the footjam with.
the footjam has been self supporting in the past and will probably be so this year too. but every year i know that if push comes to shove, planetfootbag will be there to smooth out the defizite.

going full circle again, of course it is all of you guys and girls who might have started their footbag carreer with a planetfootbag or who bought their first video at planetfootbag.com who actually deserve the praise. because without you, planetfootbag wouldn't have the money to do anything at all.

so thank you all and thank you again for coming to the footjam, it was a great weekend for us also.

I'd really like to know the shred30 score of Vasek. Looked like it might
have been a new world record to me.

I just got off the phone with Kenny Shults who said that this was the best tournament ever in the history of footbag, and Shults knows what he's talking about. He was pretty blown away by it all. All I can say is that I'm sorry I missed it.

I've evaluated Vasek's score. I hope I made no mistakes with the adds -
that's the first time I ever evaluated a shred 30 score.

((134/30) x 30) + 134 = 268 points.

correct me if I'm wrong.
