Possible shirt design

Hey modified,
I made this design for a t-shirt I'd like to print up. I was just wondering if this is the sort of thing that any of you would wear, or if I should just make one, for me. It's a work in progress. I think I'll do the brain over from a 3/4 angle. Crits and comments welcome.

I got "Footbag: drill > think > rpt." from a post written by Mosher several months ago and it stuck with me.

That looks sweet BuckRuckus, I would definately wear it.

Maybe you find a arrow that goes all the way around to the footbag for the repeating part.

I'm not sure how big. I put alot of detail in the drawings so I don't want it to be too small. On the other hand, small and understated = classy. Probably 15 cm wide, I think.

Or it could go high and wide across the back... haven't thought that far ahead yet.

I had a similar idea for a design that would read:

FOOTBAG + SHORTS + SHOES = SHRED

For the "shred" image it would be some cheese getting grated.

since we're kind of the topic of "something + something + something = something" you could do something like "lavers + knife = modified" or "lavers + bag + clothes = ready to shred" i also like the idea of sequential pictures showing a trick

I think Dan's design on "Stock? Modified.ca" was awesome. Maybe the same concept can be done with that too?

Stock (Picture of unmodded Lavers) + Knife (scissors/x-acto knife) = Modified (Modified Lavers)

That would look awesome on the front. Then you have a picture of someone on the back pulling a noice trick like a ducking butterfly with the words "Footbag" and various website logos imprinted below it. Hope you don't get angry for ripping on your idea, Dan.

There are alot of 'equations' that I could do for this design. Showing a sequence for modding shoes would be really cool, for sure. I might think about doing an image for that next.

For THIS design, though, I want to illustrate the philosophy behind footbag. Or at least one method for getting good at footbag.

Is "DRILL > THINK > REPEAT" a correct way of thinking, in terms of improving ones skills? Can anyone suggest a better formula?

but personnaly, id put the "footbag" above the rest and slightly bigger

id definatly buy one .. with the bsos or nail or only first idea

First idea is best. So is stock + knife one. Sweet pic up there man, I would buy one for sure.

Thanks everyone. I'm gonna keep this design the way it is for now. I think it works because it is one simple idea. That being said there's no reason why I can't make other desings too! All the ideas people suggested were great, an might make it onto my next shirt.

Or how about this idea (just thought of it, not drawn yet):

At the top it would read something like:
"FOOTBAG FREESTYLE IN 3 STEPS"

Under that, picture three images of a shredder, side-by-side. The first image is him standing there with the bag on his clipper with the words: "1. CONCENTRATE". Second picture looks like the first only the bag is goin up. It reads "2. SET THE BAG". Third picture is just a crazy blur of legs and arrows indicating the path of the bag, dexes and movements. Under it reads: "3. EXECUTE".

Just a thought ... I'll post it when I draw it.

I'd totally buy your orginal idea! Also i was wondering if Rpt. would make more sense if it was spelled Repeat instead? just curious.... The design looks awesome! keep it up. But I completely agree with the first design, thats the best of all

Not to be cocky, but drill>think>rpt is the best sequence/equation that has been mentioned so far. It is the closest to the real thing.

I've decided that I don't want to print these up, keep boxes of them in my appt. and go through the hassle of filling and mailing orders, so I've been looking into Spreadshirts.com. It's like the popular cafe press site, only they offer a style of printing that is superior to digital transfer.

When it's ready, I'll order the first shirt myself to make sure the quality is good. I'll post a pic, then anyone who want's one can go to my website and order one.

Oh, one other thing that's cool about spreadshirts.com is you'll be able to choose my design, the colour and style of shirt, AND choose the colour scheme! That means the footbag on your shirt could have pents and hexes of any colour you decide!

Also, I think it's only fair that Tom gets a freebee! What size are you dude?
