i use to have a sweeet set up. i lived in the basement and had cement floor and some area rugs i rooled up when ever i wanted to kick. but since then my ma got the floor carpeted so outside is my only option. i use to hit my hands on the I beem when i did gyro stuff. that sucked.

It depends on what you concider a 'run' . If you consider a 3 move combo a 'run', then yeah, by default after one move it's 'midrun'. i think the question should be how long is a run vs. a string/combo.
