Cool cool, sounds something like Aphex Twin. I listened to both of the songs you have out. I liked you know a little more because of the bass hits, but I'd say both songs are a bit chaotic sometimes with too much happening at once, not hitting together to make a good solid rhythm. Some of the midi choices didn't really go together real well, not really enhancing each others sound.

You probably weren't going for a real solid beat, but I always enjoy something that will start stickin in my head because it makes my head bounce and my feet tap. Your sci-fi electronica was quite impressive though, I'm guessing that's not all you've made, you should post some other creations.
More C4 please <3

I couldn't get it play - I think I need to update my quicktime player but it takes to long.

Would it be possible for somebody to upload some of this somewhere where we can a direct link to download it?

I'm really keen to hear it anyway!

Thanks for the critic Hood-Boy!

Yeah it is a bit chaotic, I know what you mean. I start working on something, go to sleep, wake up, and I lost the point that which I focused on. I have alot of trouble really flowing through most parts of the song, considering as I work on it as a piecemeal thing instead of as 1 solid idea. Ill also try and get more sounds which fit together a bit better too.

My other "creations" really suck. Im still learning and Im new to making electronica so the other songs are more like test songs for different effects, or figuring out how compression in different parts of the routing chain, etc.

Ill try something with a more consistant sound and rhythm though, not sure when it will be done as I havent even started yet :) Maybe something noir-ish, dj shadow style...

EDIT: And i cant really put it anywhere else, its sort of a pain to maintain 2 places at once, especially since im working on music alot right now. Sorry :(

Hey that's really cool Nick. I figured out that if I went to the site with ie instead of opera it would work. I'm sure I could fiddle around at get the site to work with opera too but that seems like a waste of time.

Would you call that ambiant? - it's definitly good. I'm trying to have a few days footbag break so I'm on the lookout for chilled music that doesn't make me want to shred. I'm looking forward to your next creation!

I'm a little unsure about it - I'd love to hear some comments - also more people should listen to Nick's thing and comment too!

Nick

I dig it man. I agree with hood, it does remind me a bit of Aphex,
but I'm a pretty big aphex and dnb fan so I liked it. For the record
I liked Vacum effect better than You Know for sure, but it's just
my opinion. I'd like to hear more.
