This article is the bomb, possibly the best article ever written on footbag or a footbag player. Tuan was featured on the front page of the SF Weekly, which is a paper that has a huge reader base in San Francisco--everyone in SF reads this paper. He is a superstar in San Francisco due to this article (and his own greatness). I dont know if the online version is edited or not but the version in the paper ran many pages and had thoughts and quotes from many people. Great stuff.

That was exceptional.

It covered so many things that I feel alot of people don't realize about footbag.

This article gives good insight to what the real motivations behind footbag are. I play to death because I love it to death. It is so much more moving than people understand.

I know I am going to have footbag as a big part of my life for a long time. And I am excited to know there are several successful couples that found happiness through footbag and can enjoy footbag together. One day..

wow, that was great... kept me right with it the whole time. Very interesting, very well written. I think it shows a lot of respect for the sport. I like that the article 'took place' at different places, with lots of outside quotes and opinions from people around Tuan. and awesome pictures, too. That one of Tu doing that huge PS whirl is great.

What a powerful piece of writing! It covers so much ground that the non-footbagger would never be exposed to, even if they are familiar with freestyle. It captured the motivations behind our 'physical addiction' so well!

Thank you for posting!

Yeah, I read this a year or so ago, and it was great to read it again.

Whoever wrote this should be commended. Such a good, informative personality profile of Tuan and of footbag.
