Closer to the topic of the of the original post: I don't have a pack of condoms handy here... so, doesn't it specifically say on the condom pack that you can still get STD's even when you use a condom? I could be completely wrong. Just working from memory.

On a side note: a lot of girls hate the idea of taking the pill every day, and what if she forgets and she could get pregnant the next day or whatever. But the method of birth control that I've found out about recently which is very popular with girls who have tried it is called "The Ring." It doesn't give them as much extra hormones as the pill (weight gain, effect on their moods, etc.) and it's something they do once a week instead of every day.

So if you won't wear a condom and your girl won't take the pill, it's the way to go.

I think it's very very unlikely for you to get stds using a condom and I think the main reason for that warning is not because it could happen but because if it ever did the companies don't want to be sued.

certain STD's like crabs and HPV can be tranferred with rubbers. Mainly because they are skin level diseases and not blood related diseases.
