My Lavers are coming along nicely and are getting really comfy too. I want to cut off 1 of the layers on the sides but I have heard 2 different oppinions on this. Some say the outer layer, and some the inner layer (of fabric, not inside / outside foot surfaces, duh). I would just like to find out more before putting a blade to my babies.
Most people with the mesh lavers cut out the canvas layer on the inside. But if you have leather lavers its best to cut out the outside layer of leather. I think they remove the outside layer of leather because even if you remove the inside layer, the leather is still too thick and stiff. I have mesh lavers, and i removed the white inside layer, like most other people.
Yah removing the inner canvas is the best way to go. But some people remove the mesh instead of the canvas and then just have a canvas layer. I know Lon Smith has this done with a pair of red lavers he uses in all of the Cali vids on Monster Hack.
Yeah a lot of the pros say the mesh is too slippery to they cut off the mesh and just go with the canvas. It's a lot thicker, but much grippier.

i think the trend is to cut the inside canvas if purchasing lavers with mesh. I myself cut the inside of it and its feels very light and breathable and flexible. But as other people say, u can get more grip from the inside canvas... im not too sure of that, coz i havent done it but... if i were u, just cut out the insides.
