I am guiltless - my run length is pretty good - runs over 20 contacts are average - over 30 is good and over 40 is excellent. I play fairly genuine and like to hit big moves in my runs.

My main strength is my shuffle - I can consistanltly hit pixie, atomic and stepping moves on both sides and can hit long strings using only those sets. My strong side dlo and nuke set is also good - I can hit moves like fog and sumo on both sides though - so my flip isn't too bad - I can also do sailing set stuff pretty well - my flipside is a little weaker but I can still hit dominatrix midstring on that side. I also have fairly strong legs and can hit most moves symposium (although I don't like to much because it doesn't feel good for my ankles)

Recently I've been working a lot on non shuffle stuff - drifters, whirls torques, spins and ducks. I've finally realised that physically non shuffle moves are heaps easier - I mean that they use less energy - I'm still not good at them.

I think I can hit almost every standard mid diffilculty move if I put some effort into it.

thanks - I'll definitly attempt both drills. I could pretty easily hit the first 5 moves of Tom's but I'm a little sceptical of flip stepping whirl out of a pixie whirl.

I've never hit a flip janiwalker but I've footed it a few times - that drill definitly does sound hard!

I just wanted to add that mainly at the moment my focus is on non shuffle stuff - so it would be nice if you at least put some non shuffle moves in the challanges - maybe mixing it up or whatever. I think this subforum is a great idea since I would never attempt any of the combos mentioned if I wasn't asked. I hardly ever hit any of the moves mentioned so it's good to try something different!

drifter > pdx drifter > torque repeat
pdx whirl > pdx blender repeat
spinning clipper > spinning osis repeat

I don't consider these drills easy by any means!

Well I tried all the drills today and could get about halfway though most of them - couldn't do any.

You've definitly chosen my weak moves - but that's good!

I was happy with how well I did in a couple - I hit vortex>blender and footed the pdx torque.

I've also given myself the challange of dominatrix>dominatrix and had the second one bounce off my foot twice - one time it kind of stalled but came off and landed about 5 meters away from me - it's so frustrating to know that you could hit it any attempt but don't.

hmm - not sure if the last sentance makes sense but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I probably don't need any more challanges until I can at least get through some of these.

The following are definitly too hard at the moment - so I'll give them the odd attempt but spend most of the time I would be trying to hit them working on easier components or single moves.

Janiwalker>stepping clip repeat (so far I haven't managed to hit a flip janiwalker or strong janiwalker>stepping clip)

Atom Smasher > Fusion > Blurry Whirl > Mobius > (Clip set same) Motion > Butterfly Kick (I can hit the first three moves!)

Running riot - Although if it counts if I only do the first dex up time and the rest downtime I've already hit it. - I don't think this counts.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say - James R came up with the concept and asked me if I'd ever hit it on msn - all I can say is that it's a bomb 4 dex move - 7 adds and 8 if you believe moves like fusion should get an x dex.

I finally got around to trying running riot and failed miserably - I can't get the set even to waist height.

I finally succeeded in completing a challange and I'll award a $500 prize to the person who gave it to me :D

dude!!

The first move I could definitly hit - I've come pretty close before.

but that second combo is ridiculous!! I can't recall ever seeing anybody barrage set out of an osis. I might be able to hit it without the repeat.

Am I the only person who feels very challenged at the moment?
