Amazing! Sends chills up your spine.

Post by FlexThis »

Something to think about as we discuss the war in Iraq. I was sent this by my grandmother in regards to Iraq.

IRAQ - VERY INTERESTING - DID YOU KNOW?

1. The garden of Eden was in Iraq.

2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!

3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.

4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.

5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!

6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq.

7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.

8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.

9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.

10. Amos cried out in Iraq!

11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.

12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!

13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the fiery furnace!)

14. Belsh! azzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.

15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.

16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.

17. The wise men were from Iraq.

18. Peter preached in Iraq.

19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon, which was a city in Iraq!

And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and EuphratesRivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated it than Iraq! .

And also... This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?! God Bless you all Amen !

Very Chilling!

That last bit got me good.

I was in the states yesterday and I was scared the whole time. You can't help but be scared in the land of free guns for all.

Keep in mind that besides the thugs selling drugs in the streets (who have the most firepower), the rednecks only want to hunt deer and kill terrorists. So unless you are a deer , terrorist, or use to making bad drug deals FEAR NOT!

And that is about the best I can do for the NRA.

From the Koran [9.11] But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We make the communications clear for a people who know.

Sorry, but you've been had.

Further research reveals that this is a common urban legend online.

An Eagle has never been mentioned in the Koran.

So it is all bunk. According to the link above, it is a combination of things creatively put together to look real. I'm sure that the numbered points are correct. Babylon and all, but the verse is totally bogus.

Scary that something well written (but false) can invoke a feeling in you to believe.

I don't know if the numbered points are real either. I don't think anybody knows where the Garden of Eden was if it ever existed or where Noah built the ark. I'm sure there are lots of theories but I don't think there is much evidence. Every now and then someone claims to have found the ark and as soon as real scientists look at it, it turns out to just be something big and shaped a bit like a ship.

The Famous Cookie guy???
What the hell was he doing in Iraq? How nice of him to help feed the innocent Iraqi civilians slaughtered and ignored as "collateral damage".

Nice Brad!

Jeremy,

I don't know about the Arc, but the garden of Eden IS in Iraq. I'd like to have time to research that one further, but I recall that knowledge from the first gulf war. But I am not God, so I don't know for sure.

It would be pretty interesting if that verse had been true. But alas....

You know what I find interesting? According to the Bible, no one will know when the end is coming, yet everyone from politicians to news media suggest that they know what is best to prevent such a catastrophy, yet how can they when no one will know when it will all come down?

Sorry for posting prematurely on this one. It was indeed too good to be true.

Damn, thats the weird stuff. The stuff from the bible thing almost seems like the bible code. I don't know if anyone has heard of it, but they found clues in the bible that matched exactly what happened on 9/11.

This happens everyday. You could make a comment about the President at school and the next day or even later in the afternoon have SS knocking on your door.

In this case the "off with you head thing", although taken completely out of context, could be viewed as a reference to all the beheadings in Iraq.

Laughable though that SS would make that leap. (I am laughing at SS, not at our Freedoms)

I saw a tv show recently on the bible code (John Safran Vs God!) and using the same code they showed how a particular US government report on the 9-11 attacks post predicted the downfall of Vanilla Ice and also how the Vanilla Ice lyrics predicted 9-11.

Basically using the same code you can predict anything with anything - just so long as you have enough text - 100 pages should be enough.

It's so true Jeremy, I've been watching those Penn & Teller: BULLSHIT shows lately, they have one about the end of the world, where they do a little segment on this one author wo is dedicated to deciphering the predictions of Nostradamus. The interview with him is rediculously funny his renderings of Nostradamus' predictions are so far fetched it's laughable, and he publishes a book about them every year, they looked at his books and he uses the same Nostradamus writings in different books to predict totally different events, it's hilarious!

I like the Bullshit! episode where they show us what a wasteful scam recycling is. All the billions spent so we can burn extra gasoline to truck off recyclables
(40% of which ends up in the SAME LANDFILL AS THE REST OF THE GARBAGE)

All that wasted water used to clean the crappy old bottles, also.

As long as you feel good about recycling, that's all that matters.

Just think about it, when you recycle, you are actually INCREASING fossil fuel use, and global warming.
