Other Alt. To Lavers?

Cameron -

Sort of off topic, but have you noticed any size difference between the 300's and 520's? I've owned a pair of 9 300's and have a pair of 9 520's at the moment, and they seem smaller than the 300's, though I can't remember for sure. I know the sizing is different from Lavers, though.

I had five pair of 300s, before i tried the 520s. The 520 doesn't fit my foot the same at all. The seem a little smaller to me . . . but it's hard to tell. I know with all the excessive padding, the 520 comes with they are a lot smaller feeling. I can't put my finger on it, but I felt slightly more stable in the 300. I'm playing better than ever in the 520 now, and my clippers are a lot more precise, probably because they have to be in the 520.

Well, I chose these shoes sorta to compare with the Climacool's. Not like the Laver-ish look.

Some of those look alright, some are not as good as they appear.

I used a lot of running shoes, and the problem isn't in finding suitable toes and insides . . . it's the tread that is most often problematic.

Usually the best running shoes for footbag are those lightweight-ones. I had a really nice pair of black running shoes 'fore I got my CT300's. Often the toe in them is only a flexible piece of cloth and very easy for stalls. The inside is a different thing, it might be good but bad too. The good insides are like a ...how would I describe it...like a pit or something. They kind of catch the bag in them.

Does even someone understand what I'm trying to tell you?

these shoes don't look too bad, because the insides are straight...not like any seperation between the heel and the ball of the foot. And they seem pretty like..6.9 oz.

I don't know about them... Too light, terrible inside, the toe looks pretty bad, too, and at such a weight, I really have to question the support of the shoe. Just my thoughts.

Hey, JFootbagger why don't you just go for NB or Lavers?

Is there something specific you don't like about these shoes?

Oh, don't get me wrong, I LOVE my lavers to death. Except I may be looking for a some shock absorbant shoes...the NB's do look nice...I may snag a pair...but I dunno if I want to do those heavy moddings

just looking around for some new shoe is all

Oh, cool.

I think I'll get my NB 520 in a few days and will be able to compare them with climas I'm using now. When I get them I will not to mod them at all, just use as they are. Modding IMO does't help that much no matter which shoe you are using.
