Chilly Philly...?
ok, another update
. The 1st-2nd in January WOULD be perfect, besides the fact that the venue is closed on the 1st. now what i want to do is find out if there is one of those big ballroom or conference rooms we could have a jam in at the host hotie on saturday. then on sunday, we have a big ass dual court tennis pavilion to ourselves. If this dosnt work out, i can either try to find another local spot to kick at on saturday, or...the chilly philly may be one day. it would be one nutty day of shredding though
. off tha hook! ill post again later when i find out whats up with the hotel.

I liked the first dates posted much better. First off there is this tournament in CHICAGO called the NEW YEARS JAM, incase anyone cares. It will run from the 27-29 of December. Although the dates do not overlap you will be taking players away from our tournament and possibly a few from yours. I was planning on attending both but there is no way I can do that with work, as well as the event taking place on New years day. Maybe you should consider the community as a whole; other tournaments and the majority of players, instead of an elite few. I'm sorry if this came off harsh but we (Chicago Inner Circle) are making a strong effort to start running respectable events in the midwest and it doesnt help when a bomb ass event such as The Chilly Philly takes place a few days later. Just my opinion...

well to consider the community on a whole, atleast if it is on new years nobody will have school conflicts and some people may get an extra day off work for the holidays so it could be beneficial to a lot of people to have it then also. it has got to be really difficult to put on an event of this size so josh deserves our support no matter what the turnout is right =) personally i think the most important thing in choosing a date is what venues are available. it would be great to see everyone make it but we will all have conflicts on different dates. i think it is a long way for people to travel for one day of shred which is why i think venue availabity is most important.

I'm cool with the dates, but plane tickets for New Years are going to be so much more expensive.

I didn't really break it !!! I did break it, but it wasn't my fault, I was switching out tapes and it jammed... Then I got to use Kenny Shults's professional camera, oh man, it was nice. I wrote up a little review of last year because this one was coming up, I thought I should write it up before my memory's became to unclear.
