I'm on long island for the next two weeks . . . I see a train track connecting me to the rest of the world.

Anyone kick in this area ? I'm pretty much guiltless and can hit a few fours and five add tricks.

Should I bring a winter jacket, or is it still shorts and tee shirt weather on the east coast ?

Word Up, Cam!

The NYFA is here for you, man! All you have to do is take the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) in to Penn Station, NYC and its on. We'll set up a special session for ya this weekend. Probably in our favorite indoor spot.

There are also some dedicated stylers on The Island itself, so you don't necessarily have to go as far as the city, though I hope you will. Strassman, are you out there? You'd better be reading this.

Anyway, with lots of luck you may still get by in shorts, but I wouldn't bother packing too many pairs. The nice weather here is mostly over. I wouldn't bother with the long-underwear yet, but bring sweatshirts and a jacket.

for the record, I am the only styler on Long Island (to my knowledge)

Awesome. . . winter started this weekend on the west coast. I'll bring kicking shorts instead of cargo shorts.
