anyone hear about what happen to Ashlee simpson lastnight while performing on SNL? on second song the was like out of tune and she ran off stage.

man, that's raw... I kinda feel bad for her... I mean... it's not like she's out to hurt anyone or anyone's feelings. she's just rich and hot (I'm assuming; I don't know what she looks like) and related to a pop icon and someone told her she could be a pop star if she wanted. I'd probably say yes if someone offered to bankroll my fame.

time to go rock. i've gotta bankroll myself, I guess.

Well I watched the video and it looked to me like she was laughing when she went off stage.

Also being in that situation must suck. I always hate it when other people find enjoyment in somebody elses misfortune. I don't like her music but I wish her all the best.

well i think it's fucking stupid she makes millions off of TERRIBLE MUSIC..before she started lip synching,she SUCKED at concerts,sounded awful.she finally got smart and used computers to sound decent,but dude,she isnt a singer.her band can play,she cant sing,she needs to quit making money off of this.she has enough damn money,why make more.disgrace to music

I really, *really* don't like that attitude. The game of music production and live music performace...it's not defined by lipsynching, or the use of "Electronic Enhancement", as one site puts it. Plenty of artists possess the talent necessary to perform live.

As a musician and aspiring music producer myself, this just enrages me.

Jeremy alluded to the idea, if you make money, you win the game. Yeah, the Market System I suppose, but paying to see a LIVE performance, and then finding that the singer is simply "acting like a singer"...it's fraudulant. The performer is being deceitful for personal gain. Straight-up.

It's live. If you can't perform live, stay home.

Haha i was being serious. Even if she is remotely attactive, the bone structure of her face reminds me of Andy Dick. Especially that gonzo nose.
