Just curios to people that have climas. Does the toe area work fine for toe tricks and the such? Cause I play with the bottom 2 eyelets cut off on my lavers so I am used to the open toe box deley. Cause I think once my lavers are done for I would love to get a pair of clima cools.

they have a bigger more open toe deck.

It is much like a laver with no walls.

The toe in Climas give you definitely a better touch with the bag. I've never played with 'em, but the cloth on top of the toe is flexible and thin.
I was first going to buy them to be my first footbag shoes but didn't get them cause:
1. They were too expensive for a 14-yr-old like myself
2. I wasn't sure what mods do they need

Now I think I could buy a pair if I find ones. And I also go running etc., so they'd be quite perfect for me.

They are a high performance running shoe thus you are likely to pay alot for them.

Though if anybody REALLY wants them they should get on it, they won't be around forever.

Guys - not to be a dick but every single thing you have just asked (about price and location and toe area etc) were all answered in the long winded post I made on the previous page. Seriously, it's a wealth of information!

edit: sorry, that was kinda rude.
I got them at an Adidas Outlet, there should be one near you.
They cost me $90 Canadian but they were heavily discounted to that price.

No, it isn't available anywhere but online at this point I would say.

Type "climacool' into google and see what comes up.

I think you're a bit too late, Lauri. Last time I've seen a pair was about a year ago in Turku when I was there for a short time (of course I'm not living there). I even tried 'em on.
After that I've been visiting my relatives in Espoo and at that time I looked almost all the big sport shops in Helsinki "Center" and couldn't find them anywhere.
And it's not so easy to get those few years old products from Finland cause here are no Adidas Outlets.
So what I'm saying is that it may be hard to find that particular model. But I've seen a lot of chic pairs of CC Responses and other Climas in Tampere's Anttila last summer.

Those shoes are absolutely worth of trying so still try to find a pair and give it a try. 8)

These are the Climacool III's that I got.

Image

After I cut off the plastic on the insides(first pic) and outside (second pic), it leaves a super thin net nylon mesh. Since the plastic isn't connected to the mesh at all, no glue gone is needed.

The insides are really good. There is a little indent that I just pored some amazing goop into to make it flat. I'm not finished building it yet though. The toes are a nice soft dual mesh layer, but I'm still getting used to them as I've only played for like 2 minutes. Though I don't think I'll mod them, I'll post up a pic if I do or say if it helps. I just wanted to try some shoes that have some support for once. Though I really like lavers, they hurt after playing for a while.

Wow, you modded the outside too!
I left mine raw because I thought it looked badass that way, and I don't play with my outsides ever.

Great work modding them!

I love the way they play. I think I am going to do some touch-up mods on mine right now actually.

You should write a performance review once you have shredded in them for a while.

Yours came out really really bad ass looking.

I will post some more pics of mine when I am done.

Awesome work Brad.

The only thing i can see wrong with clima cools is this:

If i got a pair the toe would be tiny. since i wear size 4.5 shoes.....

my laver toe box is just bigger than my abshire. its tough, but i manage

the toe is NOT small
i know that Tom!

im just saying, if i bought them at size 4.5 than the toe would automatically be small because the rest of the shoe is. I think it has to be proportionate.

big shoes= big toe
small shoes=small toe
