Nick you're one sneaky guy sneaking up on me like this with a challenge blog.
I guess I should describe my game so I get appropriate challenges. I'm strong guiltless and compete pro but highly inconsistant. 10 contacts is a lot for me, and i've been trying to increase string length for a while now.
The following are sets I have dialed both sides
stepping, pixie/fairy, atomic/quantum, spinning
I can hit stuff out of these sets but they're not solid yet : nuclear, hopping, frantic, sailing, blazing, neutron, pixie spin/inspin, fairy spin/inspin, hyper, inspinning, and some others i'm sure.
Ducking and diving is a joke for me. I have most basic downtime concepts mastered, just can't link!
Torques and blenders still need work but I can hit them. Flip superfly is weak, and so are swirls. I've hit rubberman at least five times, but I want to do stuff like blurry drifter>blurry whirl rpt.
I can hit a lot of moves so don't be afraid to throw some hard stuff in (like icarus or something), I need work on contacts mostly, but I LOVE big moves.
Help me get better!

As to my first challenge I've already hit those (I only just recently hit 11 alternating osii)

Uh all those phat moves and concepts and 10 contacts is a lot for you!?

I challenge this then... 50 contacts of bops only! general mix of all of them. If this is too easy, then I would try 50 contacts of bop, bop, bop, genuine, bop, bop, bop, genuine... You should work your string length as opposed to huge moves and links, as it seems you have plently of big moves.

Could you hit Hopping ss Drifter or Whirl? I'm trying to think back to seeing the set, and I think you could manage it.

EDIT: THIS IS JAMES SIGNED IN AS NICK

50 contact bop! That sounds tough regardless. But that was a great idea James, thanks.

About the hopping Kevin, after worlds I fucked up my left hip and I'm still not too sure about hitting the set on that side though I've been schooling my flip lately and I'll give it a try tonight. I want to be able to hit hopwalk midstring and b2b.

Nick and I are about to have a session! I will see what I can do.

Keep the challenges rolling in, I really love it. And the next time I'm on I'll challenge everyone.

Hey James, how about:

swirl > blender > swirl > blender > ripwalk > ripwalk > pdx torque > torque > pdx torque > ripwalk > blurry whirl > blurry drifter > pdx drifter

It's a pretty long string with some big moves I guess (for me at least). And since you said ducking and diving is a joke for you, how about:

diving clipper > ducking clipper > diving clipper > ducking clipper (rpt optional)

Good luck! :D

I think that string is for Nick. I'm sure I could hit parts of it but the whole thing? I can't step out of torque yet but I guess I should get started soon!

As for the ducking and diving I can hit 15+ contact strings with ducking/diving/weaving/zulu clipper and butterfly with spinning ducking/zulu and gyro weaving/diving.

Oh sorry James. By saying that ducking/diving were a joke for you, I thought you meant that they were weak. My bad! :D Good luck with the other string though... Hehe...

I was in decent shape last night, but my lower legs have been aching for a couple days now. You will get your footage I guarantee!
As for the challenges I've only really came close to one...I footed gyro osis>mobius both sides. God I love that combo though.
50 bop is harder than it seems....i'ma get on it.

and one more thing....stepping out of torque is DAMN hard! And amazing looking...torque>ripwalk is hella fun.
Krafty I think that string is beyond me for at least a little while longer, plus it's so long I can't remember the whole thing! But it's still really good practice for my blenders and torques, so I'll do bits and pieces of it.

How many bops have you hit so far? The more you can hit, the better your control will get, and then your runs will become longer in the process.
